Jennifer Lawrence and Nicky Hilton were pictures of elegance in a chic black dresses on Friday night as they left a private fashion event in New York.

Actress Jennifer, 34, looked stylish in a floaty midi dress which featured a sheer middle panel as she left the house of Lauren Santo Domingo Fashion, now owned by Ralph Lauren, following the exclusive event kicking off the Met Gala weekend.

She accessorised her look with a stylish burgundy handbag, silver necklaces and pointed black flats, while her golden locks were left loose for the occasion.

The Hunger Games star appeared in good spirits as she smiled while making her way down the steps and down the street, presumably towards a waiting car.

Meanwhile Nicky, 41, also caught the eye in her sophisticated black ensemble, consisting of a lace-trimmed slip dress worn beneath a fluffy cropped jacket.

The socialite elevated her look with a pair of black lace heels and tucked her clutch bag under her arm as she carefully walked down the stairs.

Jennifer’s outing comes after she recently welcomed her second child with husband Cooke Maroney.

The Indian Hills, Kentucky native and Cooke married in October 2019 at the Belcourt mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.

Maroney has worked as the art gallery director for Gladstone Gallery in New York City since 2022.

A source close to the actress dropped a clue as to when the Golden Globe award winner may become a mother again.

In October, an insider teased to People magazine that JLaw’s son Cy ‘will be three when the new baby arrives.’

‘She loves being a mom. She’s thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will 3 when the new baby arrives,’ they added. 

In a 2022 interview with Vogue, Lawrence opened up about the joy of becoming a first-time mother, sharing that the birth of her son Cy ‘felt like my whole life had started over.’

‘I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing,’ she gushed.
