Jennifer Coolidge thanked ‘all the evil gays’ who tried to kill her in The White Lotus during her hilarious acceptance speech at the Emmy Awards on Monday.
The star, 62, won Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role of Tanya McQuoid in The White Lotus.
During her acceptance speech, the actress put her Emmy on the floor, joking she didn’t ‘have the strength’ to hold it.
Jennifer also reminded the audience she ‘got the hook last year’ when her acceptance speech – also for The White Lotus – ran on too long.
The Legally Blonde star then thanked the show’s creator Mike White, saying: ‘Thank you for giving me this opportunity to play this incredible character. He says I’m definitely dead so I’m going along with it.’
