Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis has warned people not to settle in love, after going public with his romance with the Hollywood star.
Hypnotist and and wellness coach Jim, 50, posted a video on his popular Instagram account on Wednesday, dishing out some relationship advice.Â
Asked if it is ‘better to settle or stay alone’ Jim was adamant that relationships should not be entered into lightly.
‘I’m gonna say neither,’ he told the camera whilst pottering about in his kitchen. Citing a Harvard study Jim said ‘relationships are the most important things for happiness so having people in your life that nurture you and help you grow as a person is super important.’
He added that strong friendships are just as vital, explaining: ‘So you should not be alone, nor should you settle.’
‘If you’re in a love relationship or if you’re in a relationship with someone that doesn’t fulfil you then you should go out there and cultivate more friends.’

Jennifer brought her boyfriend the ELLE Women in Hollywood event this week, marking their first public outing together and now the wellness coach has dished out relationship adviceÂ
‘Definitely don’t settle for that relationship. At the same time don’t be alone so that’s the paradox of life.’
Jim’s latest musings on love come days after his girlfriend’s long-time pal Adam Sandler gushed over her new romance and said he’s ‘so happy’ she’s having ‘the love affair you deserve’.
The Happy Gilmore actor praised Jennifer, 56, while he presented her with one of ELLE magazine’s Women in Hollywood accolades on Monday.
Jennifer, 56, had brought her boyfriend Jim to the event in Beverly Hills, marking their first major public outing together.
Speaking on stage, Adam said to Jennifer:Â ‘When we are around you, me and [my wife] Jackie are so happy you and Jim found each other and are having the love affair you two deserve.
‘We love you, Jim. The whole world loves you.’
Adam, who played Jennifer’s husband in Netflix’s Murder Mystery movies in recent years, continued by praising her warm nature and good humour.
According to PEOPLE, he told the packed event:Â ‘I can honestly say Jen is the best in so many ways and one of the most rocksteady humans I’ve ever met.

‘I’ve only seen her angry maybe, like, two and a half times in the 40 years I’ve hung out with her. Jennifer is beautiful, everyone knows that. She makes us smile and laugh. And she has a warmth to her that is intoxicating.’
He concluded his gushing speech: ‘She is everyone’s best friend.’
Jennifer, who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005, and Justin Theroux from 2011 until 2017 – set off romance rumours with Jim when they were glimpsed on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, over Fourth of July weekend.
They took their relationship to the next level in September when he supported her at the season three premiere of her Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show, although the two didn’t pose for photos together.

Although she has generally stayed private about her relationship, the actress raved about Jim in a new interview that ran this week in Elle.
‘Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does. He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people,’ the Horrible Bosses star gushed.
‘He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to,’ saidJ ennifer.Â
