Jennifer Aniston Steps Out with Boyfriend Jim Curtis After Dating Reveal

Jennifer Aniston and her new boyfriend stepped out for a romantic date night in New York City on Friday.

The 56-year-old Friends star was spotted heading out for dinner with Jim Curtis, 50, who walked with the assistance of a cane, while she rocked a youthful, casual ensemble.

Their outing came shortly after former Real Housewives Of New York City star Bethenny Frankel revealed on her podcast that she had briefly dated Curtis years earlier.

Aniston looked totally at ease on her night out in a brilliant white tank top and pale blue acid wash jeans with a large patch of darker denim running down the front of one leg.

The film and television star covered up with a slim beige jacket with long, wing-like cuffs that she left undone, and she completed her outfit with a black leather handbag and casual black flip flops.

Aniston wore her caramel-colored hair styled straight and cascading down her shoulders.

Following just behind Aniston was Curtis, who mirrored her ultra-casual style with a dark brown shacket that he left unbuttoned.

Curtis flashed his white T-shirt underneath, which contrasted his dark trousers while complementing his bright white sneakers.

The wellness expert wore his dark hair slicked back, and he sported a thick salt-and-pepper beard.

He has been seen carrying a cane on several outings with Aniston in recent months.

Beginning in the summer of 1995, right after his freshman year at the University of New Hampshire, Curtis was hit with severe nerve pain that would stay with him for years.

An MRI later revealed lesions on his spinal cord, a diagnosis that pushed Curtis to pivot from his ‘frat guy athlete’ persona and explore a different path focused on healing and personal transformation.

He credited a university professor for setting that new course into motion in a 2017 interview.

‘He taught me to meditate and introduced me to the idea of mindfulness: focusing on just being present,’ Curtis shared. 

Former Real Housewives Of New York City star Bethenny Frankel came forward this week to announce that she knew Curtis — because they once dated.  

The 54-year-old reality star–turned–business mogul announced on the latest episode of her Just B podcast: ‘I dated Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend and he was a nice guy.’

Frankel said she wouldn’t divulge ‘too much’ about the former relationship ‘out of respect’ for the new couple.

She broached the subject by prefacing, ‘I’m happy for her, and I want to say this in the right way…’

Frankel then mentioned the hypnotherapist by name as she said, ‘His name is Jim Curtis, and he’s getting a lot of attention because he’s with her now, and he’s in the wellness space.’

The mother-of-one then mentioned that she and Curtis ‘didn’t get that into’ wellness because she doesn’t always take it seriously.

The ex Bravo star added, ‘He was earlier in his journey. But with that and with the wellness aspect, there was an earthiness to it, and it does vibe with Jen Aniston.’

She repeated, ‘I’m happy for Jennifer Aniston because I do believe she wants to find love.

‘I do believe it’s been difficult, as I understand as well as anybody can, and I do believe she’s sort of got that earthy, mellow side to her.’

And the outspoken social media influencer predicts that Aniston and Curtis will go the distance.

‘He’s a handsome, nice man, and he seems kind. I think this is good,’ Bethenny said before giving her final thoughts.

‘I like it, and I’m happy for her and for him, who, like I said, I thought was a lovely man,’ she reiterated.

In July, the Friends alumna and Curtis were spotted on a yacht as they vacationed together in Mallorca, Spain, with actor Jason Bateman, his wife, and other friends.

‘They do everything together, they are always together, and if they have to be away from each other, they are on the phone all the time. They are so hot and heavy, it’s crazy,’ a source told the Daily Mail in late August.

The person with direct knowledge added, ‘The amazing thing is that they click really well because they have the same interests like meditation, yoga, therapy and dogs.’

Curtis is a life coach and love ‘guru,’ and he describes himself as a ‘transformational coach and hypnotherapist.’

Aniston has been following him on social media for nearly two years.

She was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and later to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.

In August 2023, she opened up about the long-term effect her parents’ bitter 1980 divorce had on her love life.

Speaking with WSJ. Magazine, she admitted that her ‘difficult’ childhood experiences didn’t leave her desperate to say ‘I do.’

‘It was always a little bit difficult for me in relationships, I think, because I really was kind of alone,’ she explained.

She admitted it felt ‘easier’ to be alone.

‘I didn’t like the idea of sacrificing who you were or what you needed, so I didn’t really know how to do that,’ she said, before adding, ‘So it was almost easier to just be kind of solo. So I didn’t have any real training in that give-and-take.’
