Dewan asked the court to ‘bifurcate’ the former couple’s conflict over revenue from the sexy male stripper franchise, which she’s claiming half of since the character was created while they were still married.
If her request is granted, that would mean their dispute over Magic Mike’s multi-millions would be decided at a trial by itself with other unresolved issues such as child support and spousal support dealt with in a separate trial.
Tatum, 44, is vehemently opposed to the bifurcation, accusing Dewan of ‘delaying tactics to prolong resolution of our financial settlement…and to seek a windfall from me.’
