Jenna Dewan & Daughter Everly Mirror Each Other in Cute Selfie

Jenna Dewan’s mini-me daughter Everly is her famous mom’s same height as the duo posed for a sweet selfie during a trip to New York City this week. 

The Step Up actress, 44 – who risked a run-in with ex Channing Tatum at the preteen’s graduation last month – enjoyed a shopping spree in the Big Apple with the 12-year-old. 

The star shares her eldest child with the Magic Mike actor – whom she was married to from 2009 until their divorce was finalized in 2019. She also shares Callum, five, and Rhiannon, one, with partner Steve Kazee. 

Dewan – who is 5’2″ – snapped a quick mirror selfie inside a shop while draping her arm over Everly’s shoulders. 

The mom-of-three showed off her summer style in a white lace top as well as a pair of blue denim jeans. 

Jenna slipped into a pair of white Adidas sneakers and allowed her long dark locks to flow down past her shoulders in light waves.

Everly also kept it stylishly casual wearing a printed White Fox shirt as well as denim shorts and sneakers. 

A pair of sunglasses were placed on top of her blonde hair which also fell down past her shoulders. 

The mother daughter duo held small smiles on their faces as they shopped around the city during the getaway. 

Another picture was taken as Dewan balanced a pile of clothing for Everly to try on while sipping on an iced coffee. 

She added a caption over the image to her followers which read: ‘Somehow became the mom of a teenager overnight.’

The preteen celebrated her 12th birthday a couple months earlier in May, and Jenna shared a loving tribute to her eldest child on Instagram. 

Alongside a carousel of throwback snaps of Everly over the years, The Rookie actress also wrote: ‘I get so emotional on your birthdays Evie because there are just no words to express it all. 

‘You made me a mama, you have always been my catalyst north star, magical spirit, soul baby that there is just no way to express how much you mean to me!’

She added, ‘You are light, you are everything magical and special and amazing and I am so lucky to be your mom! Thank you for being you in this world. 

‘We all love you so much, you are everything to all of us and I can’t wait to continue celebrating you today and every day!! Happy Birthday, Monkey!’ 

And in April of this year, Jenna and Everly had a blast as they attended the 2025 Coachella Music Festival. 

In one photo shared to Instagram, Jenna’s daughter could be seen standing near the stage while awaiting Blackpink member Lisa’s performance. 

The preteen sported a layer of makeup during the festivities – which was seemingly approved by her mother. 

Dewan previously revealed to People that Everly is a big fan of beauty, and is ‘really good’ when it comes to doing makeup.  

‘She’s been in a makeup trailer with me at work since she was…I have pictures of her 6 weeks old with me because I was filming Witches Of East End and she was in the trailer with me.’ 

The star continued, ‘So she’s just been around it. There’s a part of her that’s kind of interested, but she’s really good. She has a little play set of makeup that I’ve been giving her and she’s got a great look.’

Dewan previously revealed to People that Everly is a big fan of beauty, and is ‘really good’ when it comes to doing makeup; seen in 2024 in L.A. 

Jenna later shared that the preteen ‘loves glitter eyeshadow, which I do too. So it comes naturally.’ 

While talking to People last year, the actress gave an update on her daughter’s passion for makeup and said, ‘It was like overnight, I woke up and she’s in my makeup drawer, loving to try on different kinds of lip glosses. 

‘And she likes a lot of cheek, she likes a lot of blush and a little bit of lip gloss and she plays around, and I think it’s fun and it’s creative.’

The star recalled, ‘I used to love that as a kid, I was in my mom’s makeup drawer. And she just thinks it’s a fun expression of her own personality and what she likes to feel.

‘She likes to change it up like, “Today I’m going to dress like this and I’m going to try on this color lip gloss.”‘ 

And during a past interview with E! News, the actress joked that her eldest child is ‘cooler’ than her. 

‘She definitely judges me when I am trying to learn Tik Tok. I’m like, “You know there are a lot of people who think this is cool?” Ev is honestly cooler than me!’

Last year in October, it was revealed that he had split from fiancee Zoe Kravtiz after three years together.

The preteen has followed in her parents dancing footsteps and has developed a passion for Irish dancing. 

Jenna gave her fans a glimpse at the competition, such as her daughter on stage and penned, ‘Never not proud of you Evie!! You wowed and danced amazing! (they don’t allow us to video while she dances!).’
