Jenna Bush Hager has confessed that she ‘needs an intervention’ after revealing her very awkward encounter with a male neighbor.
The 42-year-old reenacted the hilarious interaction in front of co-host Hoda Kotb, 59, on a recent episode of Today.
She explained how she was caught in an embarrassing predicament in her neighbor’s garden in nothing but her pajamas.
And the light-hearted tale left Hoda in fits of giggles.

Explaining the situation in the studio, Jenna said that she and eldest daughter Mila, 11, had both been in their pajamas one evening when they decided to go on an adventure.
‘We went outside so I could cut some flowers and we were also looking for this weird beaver that lives on our property,’ the mom shared through giggles.
‘We have our cat in our arms and it was so beautiful out. [Mila] said, “let’s walk down the street. Do you wanna go for a walk?”‘
Jenna said that she had her reservations but that Mila quickly persuaded her that ‘no one’s going to care,’ adding: ‘We’re not going to even see anybody.’
She continued: ‘We’re walking. I had my scissors with me because I’ve been cutting. The cat’s in the stroller. We’re pushing the stroller with the cat.
‘Mila and I are walking – there’s neighbors of ours, who don’t live in the home. They’ve moved and they have a beautiful garden.’
Hoda interjected, ‘you did not. no, you didn’t,’ before Jenna continued: ‘I said to Mila, “These peonies need to be cut because I’ve read if you don’t cut them then they won’t grow as beautifully next year.”
‘Before I could even hear her response, I’m walking over to cut the peonies. I’m bending down with my booty high in the air and all of a sudden I’m hearing somebody go “Hi, Mila.”‘

The startled mom said she turned around from her precarious position and ended up giving a wave to their next door neighbor.
She shared: ‘I walk over with the few flowers I’ve managed to cut and I said, “what do you think is more strange – that I’m walking in my pajamas or that I’m cutting the neighbors flowers?”
‘And he goes, “really the cat in the stroller is the strangest of all.”‘
Jenna concluded that Mila was left in fits in laughter as she complained that the neighbor saw her mom’s behind so high up in the air during the bizarre encounter, before she declared: ‘I need an intervention.’
