Jenelle Evans on Wednesday said that there is no arrest warrant against her husband David Eason, after he was charged with child abuse this week after her son Jace, 14, went missing three times in six weeks.
‘There isn’t any warrant issued,’ the Teen Mom 2 star, 31, told her 3.1 million followers on Instagram Stories.
Evans said that the reporting around Eason, 35, is ‘getting insane at this point.’
She advised her followers not to believe reports coming from certain outlets or Teen Mom fan pages, saying ‘they get stupid sources and don’t fact check [beforehand].’
Evans’ complaint came after a court clerk in the couple’s native North Carolina told The U.S. Sun Wednesday that records indicated a warrant for Eason’s arrest which had not yet been served.

The clerk told the outlet of Eason: ‘I don’t see anything that has been served. But there is a warrant out for his arrest.’
Evans accompanied her message with a short clip in which she sang along with the 2018 Snow Tha Product single Today I Decided.
Evans on Tuesday said in exclusive comments to DailyMail.com that the charge ‘doesn’t have anything to do with’ Eason and claimed police were ‘looking into the wrong person right now.’
Evans shares Jace with ex Andrew Lewis and is also mother to son Kaiser, nine, with ex Nathan Griffith; and daughter Ensley, six, with Eason.
Since Jace’s three attempts to run away, he has returned to the care of his maternal grandmother Barbara Evans, with whom he has lived for much of his life.
Evans said that ‘there is a vile situation going on and it’s not pertaining my husband. This story is one sided and no interviews were conducted asking what happened when the “incident” occurred.
She added: ‘I cannot say any details at this time because this is about my son’s mental health, not about my husband and I cannot stress that enough.
‘Our time will come in court and we will have our day to present the evidence that has been adding up since 2017, and again it doesn’t have anything to do with my husband. I would love privacy at this time for my own mental health and my family’s well-being.’

The charge is a misdemeanor, TMZ reported Tuesday, adding that the probe against the Oak Island, North Carolina native and her husband began after Jace’s third disappearance.
In a clip she filmed on Monday and posted to TikTok Tuesday, Jenelle slammed her mother, complained about getting harassed on social media, and physically stood by the side of Eason, who was seen in the closing seconds of the clip.
In her social media post, Jenelle said that she was getting a lot of ‘feedback’ on her social media posts and came to the conclusion that her followers hate her.
‘I’m just getting so much harassment and I’m being called a piece of s*** mom [and] horrible mother,’ Jenelle said.
She implied that her mother Barbara was the culprit behind the child abuse probe and charge against Eason, as well as the nasty fallout of the ongoing situation.
‘All of these comments are stemming from one person who is spreading it – if you know who I’m talking about,’ she said.
Jenelle said that she was holding her tongue on the specifics on the case for the time being, and urged her followers to refrain from posting negative sentiments to her social media pages.
‘This will all be over soon and then I’ll be able to tell you guys the full truth and what’s going on,’ she said, ‘but like right now, please just keep your comments to yourself because I’m trying to keep my mental health in check.’

Jenelle said amid the trying times, she still had to ‘go to work,’ ‘post content,’ and ‘make videos for you guys.’
She added, ‘I want to keep you guys updated with real content and not just complaining or talking about my situation all the time.’
In a separate recording in the post, she said that she had ‘been crying for 30 minutes’ and was continuing to try and stay upbeat amid the difficult timeframe.
‘I know you’ll see me all the time on TikTok and you’re like, “She’s so happy she doesn’t care” – I do care about what’s going on, I just try not to film myself when I’m so depressed, you know?
‘But I need to keep reminding myself I’ve been through way worse in the past, and this will pass – this too shall pass.’
Jenelle then focused her ire on her mother Barbara – who she has had a mercurial relationship with over the years – saying she has broken the ‘generational curse’ in her family.
‘I think what hurts me the most is that my own parent would do this to me, my own parent caused this whole storm, s*** storm – it just hurts because I would never treat my children that way,’ she said.
Jenelle continued, ‘I know that I will treat my children with love and respect and if they need my help, I will give them my help without making them feel like a burden.’

The couple was pictured October 15 at the Wilmington Gun & Knife Show in Wilmington, North Carolina in video published by TMZ, amid reports that ‘criminal charges [were] likely’ to be filed against them in connection with an assault and neglect probe by social workers.
The MTV personality and her husband brought children Kaiser and Ensley to the event, where weapons such as guns and knives are displayed for sale on tables, sources told the outlet, adding that Jace was not present for the outing.
Eason and Kaiser looked at items such as rifle scopes, gun holster and knives while at the weapons marketplace; while Ensley remained close to Evans, witnesses told the outlet.
Eason appeared ‘to purchase a bulletproof vest for himself, and a wooden battle ax for Kaiser,’ TMZ reported, citing witnesses.
Evans and her daughter spent about 20 minutes total at the show before leaving, onlookers told the outlet.
TMZ reported earlier this month that the CPS probe of Evans and Eason ‘is in the final stages’ and that it is probable that one or both are charged as a result.
The Ashley reported that at an October 11 custody hearing, Eason was removed from the courtroom.
In a previous hearing, Evans was prohibited from speaking with Jace, unless he initiated it, while Eason was forbidden to have any contact with the teen.
Charges: Evans and her husband were investigated after Jace claimed his stepfather assaulted him September 28
No contact: The court has ordered Jenelle to have no contact with Jace unless he initiates it. The judge ruled David cannot have any contact with the teen who is currently living with his grandmother, Barbara
Interesting: Jenelle made additional comments in the form of Instgram Stories posted on Tuesday
Law enforcement officials are investigating allegations that Eason assaulted Jace on September 28.
A source told The Sun that the following day, Jace was taken to the hospital, where doctors found marks on his arms and neck.
The source also alleged the physical interaction was captured on the doorbell camera at their home.
It appears that the probe appears to be expanding to include their other children as well, as Jace has claimed he is not the only one to be physically harmed.
‘The judge asked a lot of questions about what Jace saw, and she took the allegations of abuse against the other minors in the home very seriously,’ a source told the outlet.
Evans welcomed Jace in 2009 when she was just 17-years-old – she was filming 16 and Pregnant at the time and still in a relationship with his father, Lewis.
The former reality star regained custody of the teen earlier this year.
Eason shares son Kaiser, nine, with ex Griffith; a source told the outlet the boy had been having trouble at school.
Investigation: The investigation has expanded, and CPS investigators have been ordered to speak to Jenelle’s other kids; Kaiser, nine, and Ensley, six, away from Jenelle and her husband Eason. David’s daughter, Maryssa, 16, also lives with the family
‘Kaiser was suspended from school for a week recently,’ a source said. ‘He’s in third grade. It’s not normal at all. The kids are acting out. And, it’s a total cry for help.’
Eason’s daughter, Maryssa, 16, also lives on the property, which they call The Land, with the family.
CPS investigators were allegedly prevented from speaking to Kaiser and Ensley when they came out to investigate.
‘It was said in court that the first time CPS came, they didn’t let them in,’ a source told the outlet. ‘The second time [they came] David thought they were trespassers and threatened to shoot them and the third time, they came in, but Jenelle only allowed the kids to be interviewed while she was present.
Per the judge’s ruling on Wednesday, ‘The kids will now be interviewed away from Jenelle.’
Depending on the result of the investigation, both Evans and Eason could be facing charges for neglect and assault, according to TMZ.
Another hearing has been set for later this month to determine how Jace’s living situation with his grandmother is going.
