Shah struck up a friendship with disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the Texas prison camp
'She made it very publicly known, at least to Elizabeth [Holmes] and I, that there's no remorse there,' said Shah.
'I obviously don't know all the details of the case or whatever, but we know enough,' she continued.
'When the victims would be on TV and talking, she was just... complete disregard for them, and this is when they're pouring their hearts out in front of Congress and for the [Epstein] files to be released and stuff.
'So to see that kind of behaviour, when there are real victims that you're seeing and what they've gone through, and to be so dismissive of that... it just didn't sit right with me.'
Shah also indicated that Maxwell may have received special treatment compared to the rest of the inmates inside Camp Bryan.
'Her experience there is very different from anyone else's. Even Elizabeth and I. She is treated very differently there,' she said, adding that both herself and Holmes were made to do demeaning tasks with the rest of the inmates, such as 'poop duty'.
Daily Mail has contacted Camp Bryan for comment.

Shah says that convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell was 'treated differently' to everybody else inside the prison
The former socialite was tucked away in a 'protective unit' of the barracks, surrounded by older prisoners nearing release and deemed less likely to lay a finger on her.
Maxwell is serving 20 years for trafficking underage girls to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein
Her transfer from a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida, reportedly came after she was 'bombarded' with death threats from violent inmates who branded her a 'snitch' for spending two days talking to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about the men linked to Epstein.

Inmates at Camp Bryan allegedly found it 'unfair' that Maxwell was given the transfer, which appears to have breached the Bureau of Prison rules, as she is serving 20 years for trafficking underage girls to the late pedophile.
, as nobody who is convicted of a crime as serious as Maxwell's typically gets such treatment.
Holli Coulman, who runs Pink Lady Prison Consultants and coaches soon-to-be inmates on surviving life behind bars, previously told Daily Mail that inmates inside Camp Bryan 'don't like' the convicted child trafficker.
'The girls are very upset that she's in there. She's got more than 10 years left to serve and she's in for a sexual offense. She should not be at Bryan and they feel like it's special treatment,' Coulman said.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting young girls for Epstein to sexually abuse.
