The reality TV star, 26, wrote that she wished the show focused more on 'real moments' and not 'drama' in a lengthy Instagram message.

'When I joined The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, I didn’t know what would come from it but I knew I wanted to share my story. I hoped it could inspire someone or feel relatable,' she wrote.

Affleck said she 'wanted to be honest about what it's like being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, the beauty and the struggles.'

'I wanted to highlight marriage, being married at a very young age the real pressures many couples face with culture and expectations,' she wrote, referring to her 2019 wedding to husband Zac Affleck.

'I wanted to share what it felt like stepping into a world so different from the one I came from, and navigating the contrast between the two.'

Mormon Wives Season 5 is currently on pause due to an ongoing investigation of a recent alleged domestic violence incident between Paul and ex Dakota Mortensen, who is also featured on the show

Last Thursday, ABC pulled the entire season 22 of The Bachelorette from airing Sunday following the leak of cell phone footage of Paul throwing chairs at her babydaddy in a 2023 incident, with eight-year-old daughter Indy present.

'In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,' a Disney Entertainment spokesperson told Us Weekly on Thursday.

Five of the 22 contestants who competed to win the heart of the Utah native 'are mulling over legal action' against ABC and Warner Bros. Discovery - according to TMZ.

Paul is still on probation until August 4 following the plea deal she accepted for aggravated assault for hurling her phone, a wooden playset and heavy metal barstools at Mortensen in a drunken rage.

Last Thursday, Mortensen was granted temporary custody of their two-year-old son Ever and Paul must remain '100 feet away' with 'no parent time allowed' until an April 7 court hearing - according to People.

The on/off couple got into physical fights as recent as February with him alleging she choked him, ripped his necklace off and scratched his neck because of his hookup with TSLOMW co-star Shinia Powell.

The Utah Division of Child and Family Services have reportedly received numerous calls from Mortensen alleging abuse and there's still an open investigation including psychological evaluations ordered for both parties.

Last Thursday, ABC pulled Paul's entire season 22 of The Bachelorette from its Sunday broadcast after the video leak

Paul also welcomed two children - daughter Indy and son Ocean, five - during her five-year marriage to ex-husband Tate Paul, which ended in 2022 following a 'soft-swinging' scandal.

'Taylor is very grateful for ABC's support as she prioritizes her family's safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,' the Mormon #MomToker said in a statement.

'There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.'

On Saturday, TikTok user Holden Smith posted a video about Paul's reluctance to 'put her phone down' while embroiled in the scandal.

She clapped back in the comments: 'Want me to stare at the wall instead?'

Paul was also spotted in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday wearing a blue Nodpod 'Can't Wait To Sleep With You' sweatshirt. Despite the drama Paul is now embroiled in, she appeared in good spirits and cracked a smile.
