Jemma Lucy has pleaded with Celebs Go Dating bosses to sign her up for the show, despite being spotted on a string of dates with Love Island’s Mitchel Taylor.
The 35-year-old Ex On The Beach star has a self-confessed horrid dating history and admitted in an exclusive chat with MailOnline that she wants show experts Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn to take the lead for her.
She mused: ‘A lot of people go on that show and they’re either not really interested or they’re not really single, they’re just there for money or airtime – but me, genuinely from the bottom of my heart, I need help!
‘I have got the worst type in men in the world and I would rather have no man than have my type because they’re just horrendous!’
Jemma reasoned: ‘I want to find my forever person and I’m not going to find that with my type. So I’d love to go on the show because they help you think outside the box.’

Jemma continued: ‘They force you to sit there with someone who isn’t your type necessarily on paper or physically.
‘I would never be in that situation unless someone put me in it because I’m just not brave enough. So I think I would genuinely benefit from the show.’
The mother-of-one went on to confirm that she had been on a few dates with ‘Messy’ Mitch, 27, but insisted it was ‘very, very early days,’ musing ‘we’re just doing what we’re doing.’
Jemma, who is bisexual, previously dated the likes of convicted sex offender Stephen Bear and convicted drug dealer Nicholas Sinclair.
As well as Celebs Go Dating, Jemma revealed she’d be open to returning to Ex On The Beach in her quest for finding love.
She explained: ‘The only thing I would struggle with is being away from my daughter for that amount of time, but as long as I made sure she was safe and on certain shows you can still communicate with your kids off camera…
‘I would love to go on the show again. I have said things about how I felt at the time but I do take some responsibility for my behavior.
‘Times have changed and it just seems like a much better show at the minute. I’m here because of that show.
‘I don’t like when people are like, “oh, I hate that show so much” like Megan McKenna, for example. She’s like, “oh, forget I was ever on that show?”
‘That’s where you came from, to where you are. You can’t forget that.’
Reflecting on the way production has changed since she first appeared on the show in 2015, she mused: ‘You were allowed to have physical fights and have sex with everyone and just be completely erratic.
‘TV is a little bit different now. It’s definitely less trashy, it’s more about love and sorting things out with your ex rather than fighting them!’

Elsewhere in the chat, Jemma admitted she’s suffering sleepless nights and feels ‘unsafe’ in her new place home after thieves targeted her £170,000 Land Rover Defender V8.
In December, Jemma was left devastated when her car was stolen from outside of her home just before she was due to move across London, but thanks to the tracker she’d attached, police were able to swiftly retrieve the vehicle.
Having continued with her plans to move house, the mother-of-one tried to put the theft out of her mind but admitted she couldn’t shake the feeling she was being followed.
Last month, as she slept in her home she was woken at 8.30am by the sound of her engine starting and after rushing to her window she could do nothing but look on in horror as thieves raced off with her car.
Adding to Jemma’s distress, she suffered a devastating ectopic pregnancy around the time her car was first stolen.
In December she revealed she had been hospitalised with mystery pains and later revealed that she was hospitalised because of an ectopic pregnancy, which occurs when a fertilized egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in the fallopian tube, meaning a baby is unable to develop and leaving the mother’s health in danger.
Shortly after her devastating ordeal, Jemma suffered another a blow as her relationship with convicted drug dealer Nicholas Sinclair came to an end on Christmas Day.
Reflecting on the past few months, Jemma admitted: ‘It’s actually been really difficult.
‘My car stolen, then my pregnancy, then I moved house and I had my car stolen again and things happened in my personal life too and it was just a really difficult time.
‘I think the way to stay positive is just to just… I block a lot of stuff out if I’m honest.
‘But I just look at things and I think this is the cards I’ve been dealt. This is what I have to deal with right now. What can I do about it?
‘You just have to be strong and tell yourself you can do this and things get better.
‘As long as my daughter’s happy and not stressed and safe, that’s all I care about. As long as that’s good, then realistically everything else I can handle.’
Jemma – who has not disclosed her daughter’s name or the father’s identity – welcomed her first child in 2019.
Jemma revealed she wants to have a second child but won’t do so until she’s married, admitting she feels ‘guilty’ her daughter doesn’t have both parents together (pictured in 2019)
Despite the mental and physical toll her recent ectopic pregnancy took on her, Jemma revealed she hasn’t ruled out having another child in the future.
She explained: ‘The love that I have for my daughter and how beautiful it has having a child overrides my fear of having another ectopic pregnancy.
‘But yes I am really scared of it happening again because the chances are higher if you’ve had one before.
‘When I meet my forever man and we’re happily married then I would definitely try again, but not until I’m married for goodness sake!
‘I just believe that every child should at least have the chance of having that family lifestyle where you have the parents together and you have a family home and I wasn’t able to give my daughter that and I feel a bit guilty about that.’
