Jelly Roll showed off his 110lb weight loss as he posed with his wife Bunnie XO at the Country Music Association Awards this Wednesday.
The 39-year-old recently detailed how he went from a tour culture of ‘alcohol and drugs’ to embracing physical fitness and healthier foods in an interview with People.
Now, after overhauling his lifestyle and surpassing his goal of dropping 100lbs, the singer proudly displayed his new figure at this week’s awards show.
He and his wife were among the cavalcade of country music luminaries who flooded into Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the event.
Glowing with happiness, Jelly wore a simple short-sleeved top over a black t-shirt as he stood for a snap with Bunnie XO and songstress Megan Moroney.
Jelly emphasized his trimmed-down figure in black when he hit the stage that evening to deliver a rendition of Believe, his song with Brooks + Dunn.

He layered a black jacket over a matching top and trousers for the performance, as well as a cross in keeping with the song’s religious theme.
The Nashville native also took the stage that night alongside Keith Urban, with whom he performed the song Liar from Jelly’s new album Beautifully Broken.
In a stirring special effect, flames burst up behind the two men as they sang, throwing Jelly’s figure into sharper relief.
Jelly recently covered People and shared with the magazine that he believes he’s dropped 60-70 pounds alone since beginning his Beautifully Broken tour in August.
He’s now opened up about how he stays fit on the road – a departure from the partying lifestyle he was once engrained in.
The musician has reassessed his relationship with food – and is now reaping the benefits.
‘The battle was with the food addiction, changing the way I’ve looked at food for the last 39 years,’ he told the magazine.
‘I’ve never had a healthy relationship with food, so that was the hard part. But once you get into that discipline and commitment, it’s like an avalanche. Once that little snowball started rolling, it was on its way.’

Jelly said he plays basketball with his crew everyday on tour and he’s made healthy eating and exercise a top priority during his tour.
‘It’s cool because there was once a time in life that the culture I built on tour was the opposite. It revolved around alcohol and drugs,’ he said.
‘And now our tour culture is around good eating and around exercising and doing emotional check-ins with our crew every day.’
The star said his food addiction began as a child, but he has since developed the ‘discipline’ and ‘commitment’ to begin a new path.
Last month, the country star opened up about his physical transformation in an Instagram video while detailing his diet and grueling exercise routine ahead of his Beautifully Broken Tour.
To slim down, the two-time Grammy nominee took up boxing, basketball and walking arenas.
‘That’s why next year when y’all see me you won’t recognize me,’ he said. ‘I’m going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never have.’

He continued: ‘When I see y’all in March for Canada, dawg, y’all aren’t gonna recognize me.’
In the same recording, the Son of a Sinner hitmaker’s chef, Ian Larios, noted that his client’s favorite pre-show snack is a banana topped with Manuka honey, stevia and dark chocolate shavings.
After his gig, Jelly enjoys Nashville hot chicken, which the nutritionist has been making healthier by ‘taking away the oil and the batter from it.’
The chicken is then served with French fries coated in bone brother, which ‘ups the protein in it, but it also makes it have that nice crunch to it, because we air fry it.’
‘So it tricks your brain into thinking that this is, like, that nice greasy Nashville deep-fried hot chicken. He’s gonna feel like he’s eating at home,’ he added. ‘It’s healthy. It’s air-fried. It’s full of protein, and it helps him stay on track.’
Larios raved: ‘That 100-pound weight loss goal from last tour is huge.’
In April the singer – whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord – admitted he had been ‘really kicking a**’ in his mission to lose weight.
Over the past year, Jelly has also credited his healthier mentality to his wife Bunnie XO (otherwise known as Alyssa DeFord), who’s been by his side encouraging him the entire time
‘I’m probably down 70-something pounds. I’ve been really kicking a***, man. I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I’m eating healthy right now,’ he told People.
The Save Me star went on to say that while he already feels ‘really good’ about the weight loss, he was still planning to lose ‘another 100, 100-and-something [pounds].’
‘If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I’m going to feel like by the time I go on tour,’ he predicted.
Jelly has been touring the country on the Beautifully Broken Tour with Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay, which kicked off in August.
Over the past year, Jelly has also credited his healthier mentality to his wife Bunnie XO (otherwise known as Alyssa DeFord), who’s been by his side encouraging him the entire time.
The couple first met at one of his 2015 concerts in Las Vegas, and then tied the knot the following year with his two children by side.
Jelly is also proud father of daughter Bailee, 15, and son Noah, seven, both of which are from previous relationships.
