Curb Your Enthusiasm star Jeff Garlin has finally settled his divorce with ex-wife Marla Garlin.
The actor, 61, filed for divorce from Marla, 61, in 2018, after 24 years of marriage and two sons, Duke, 24, and James, 28.
Garlin has been ordered to pay Marla $80,000 in monthly spousal support, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
However, the amount will be lowered to $35,000 once his show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, comes to an end. The show is set to end with season 12, which will premiere February 4 on HBO and Max.
The agreement states that ‘In the event filming for Curb and/or The Goldbergs stops due to Covid-19 or a reason unrelated to [Garlin] (e.g. such as a force majeure event), base spousal support shall immediately decrease to $35,000 per month, commencing the month that immediately follows the date filming stops.’

The former pair will also divide a number of their properties, but Jeff will get to keep their Chicago and NY property, as well as a Los Angeles property.
Marla will also get part of Garlin’s residuals and royalties for his TV work, including The Goldbergs, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Toy Story, Arrested Development and more.

Jeff and his wife were married in 1994.
At the time, Marla was Garlin’s talent agent.
‘She likes to joke that she got more than 10 percent,’ he told Anna Sale of NPR’s Death, Sex, & Money podcast in 2017. ‘Ha, ha.’
Garlin also shared his secrets to a successful marriage.
‘I think the key to marriage is being present everyday,’ he said. ‘Just be present, just look the other person in the eye and go, “Man I dig you. I’m really happy to be sharing this experience with you.” And that to me makes marriage worth it.’

He went on to say that ‘sex’ is also a key component to a happy, healthy union.
‘Ya know, have sex once a week. Ehhh, if you’ve got time for more, fantastic,’ he said.
Jeff added: ‘And by the way, don’t even have sex. Just stand naked together and have a conversation, dance naked, be vulnerable, be intimate.’
It comes after allegations about Jeff’s alleged on set abuse of crew on the show The Goldbergs was further exposed in a new Hollywood exposé, Burn It Down, last year.
In the book — released June 6 — it’s claimed that the actor used his ‘power and status to intimidate and demean everyone on this crew.’
Garlin played the role of patriarch Murray Goldberg for nine seasons before abruptly exiting the ABC sitcom in 2021 after a reported three-year HR investigation into his alleged inappropriate ‘verbal and physical conduct.’
A source told author Maureen Ryan that Garlin’s behavior would be ‘harassing, disparaging or physically problematic.’
It was also claimed that the Curb Your Enthusiasm alum used ‘demeaning, graphic, sexual language’ towards crew members during production.

Series showrunner Adam F. Goldberg and other higher-ups co-signed Garlin’s conduct by letting him run unchecked despite complaints, another source alleged.
‘It was a big boys club of men who were probably always kind of the dorks in high school that got picked on, then all of a sudden, they had this power,’ they explained.
Garlin has insisted that he was never fired from the show and told Vanity Fair that it was a ‘mutual decision’ with him and the network.
His character Murray was ultimately killed off in the ninth season.
