It was followed by Graziano Di Prima’s sacking last month over reports he verbally and physically abused Zara McDermott during rehearsals but Jean is still hopeful for the future of the show and is thrilled that her friend Dr Punam Krishna will be competing.
She told Love Sunday magazine: ‘I think it’s shown they can bounce back. There’s no doubt about it, there’s allegedly been bad behaviour but from a production point of view, it looks like they’re handling it professionally.
