Jax Taylor opened up on his chilly relationship with former castmate Tom Sandoval, as well as a recent headline-making incident on a cross-country flight, as he appeared Thursday on Watch What Happens Live.
The Vanderpump Rules alum, 44, appeared opposite Southern Charm star Taylor Ann Green, 28, on the program, on which he promoted his stint on the upcoming reality series House of Villains.
Taylor took part in a segment called ‘Do you regret it?’ in which he was asked a series of questions referring to his actions on Vanderpump Rules that paved the way for his stint on the new reality series, which pits alums of multiple franchises against one another.
The Shelby Township, Michigan-born reality star was asked about a past conflict on the reality series between himself and Sandoval, 40 – who has been in the headlines this year amid his affair with Raquel Leviss, 29.
After Sandoval criticized Taylor and his now-wife Brittany Cartwright, 34, for taking too long to fire their wedding pastor after learning he posted homophobic content to social media, Taylor demoted Sandoval from being his best man to a groomsman at his June 2019 nuptials.

When asked if he regretted making the move against Sandoval, Taylor said, ‘No – he should have never been at my wedding.’
Taylor confirmed that he and Sandoval have remained in touch since his departure from the series nearly three years ago, adding, ‘We talk – I’ll leave it at that.’
Later on the program, Taylor said confirmed Cohen’s declaration that ‘everyone on Vanderpump Rules has cheated’ and ‘it’s a show of cheaters,’ except for Katie Maloney, 36.
Taylor also appeared to have bad blood with another former associate from the series in Randall Emmett, 52, the former fiancé of the show’s Lala Kent, 33, who is father to her two-year-old daughter, Ocean.
Taylor in May said that he was furious with Emmett, claiming that the film producer has owed him $75,000 for more than three years, after he initially loaned him $100,000. Asked about Emmett, Taylor replied, ‘Next question.’
He also answered questions about his past romance with Stassi Schroeder, 35, saying he regretted cheating on her and getting her name tattooed on his body.
Taylor also explained an incident earlier this month involving JetBlue fight from New York City’s JFK airport to LAX airport in Los Angeles that turned around on the runway over a situation involving the first class seat Taylor was in.
An insider told Page Six on October 8 that Taylor’s complaints to the flight crew about his seat not reclining ‘made the plane two-and-a-half hours late because they were already on the runway, and it was raining.’
The other passengers on the plane were ‘frustrated’ with Taylor’s conduct, the source said, adding that 13 passengers had to make alternate arrangements after Taylor made a stink about his seat.

Taylor on WWHL gave his side of the story, saying that the seat he had in first class was broken, causing some delays to the flight schedule.
‘The seat reclined … I was first-class, sat down, took a nap before the plane took off,’ he said.
He said that ‘the seat didn’t go back up’ when the crew asked him to put his seat back in an upright position, leading to a delay due to flight regulations as the seat ‘has to be upright position.’
Taylor said that the flight crew told him that he could ‘sit back in coach or [that they would] have to turn the flight around’
Taylor, who is father to son Cruz, two, with Cartwright, said, ‘What am I supposed to do? … I’m like, “I have to go home and take care of my child, you have to turn the flight back, then.”‘
Taylor said that he refused to move to coach because he wouldn’t be able to sleep there.
‘I wanted to sleep … I was sitting in first class, There was nothing else available – you’re going to put me in the middle seat? It’s a long flight and I’ve got to get up, take my kid to school. I want to sleep.’
Taylor emphasized that despite the delay, none of the other passengers had to get off the flight.
‘They just let me off – I got out of the flight,’ he said. ‘Very simple: You can’t take off in a reclined seat … the seat didn’t work … got on another flight – simple.’

Elsewhere on the show Taylor and Green had played a game called Vanderwood Squares, a Tic-Tac-Toe take-off on Hollywood Squares, in which cast members from the series read clues and contestants had to confirm whether they were true or false.
Taylor on the show spoke about his newest business endeavor, a sports bar in Studio City, California called Jax’s.
‘Hopefully one day we can franchise it – but it’s called Jax’s,’ he said. ‘It’s like a tavern, sports bar lounge, little bit of everything. My wife designed the majority of it.’
On House of Villains, Taylor is competing against established reality TV personals including Omarosa Manigault Newman of The Apprentice, The Bachelor’s Corinne Olympios, Love Is Blind’s Shake Chatterjee and Survivor’s Jonny Fairplay.
House of Villains airs on E! Thursdays at 10/9c.
