Jax Taylor brushed off the rainy weather in L.A. on Saturday not long after claiming both he and estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, are still living under the same roof.
The Vanderpump Rules alum, 44 – who also recently alleged that the pair are not headed for ‘divorce’ – made his way through a parking lot during a solo errand run.
Earlier on Friday, 35-year-old Cartwright also commented on their split and revealed to TMZ that she was willing to give Taylor another chance – but only if he made some important changes ‘about his life.’
For the casual daytime outing, Jax was seen dressing down in a black sweatshirt as well as printed, black shorts.
He completed the ensemble by slipping into tan-colored, slip on shoes and a black cap that was placed on top of his head.

The hat notably had ‘Jax’s Studio City’ printed on the front in white lettering – referencing to his bar.
The TV personality cradled a small box in the crook of his left arm while stopping by a DHL office.
Earlier this week, Brittany – who shares son Cruz, two, with Taylor – announced the news of their split on their joint podcast titled When Reality Hits.
She revealed that she had moved into another home ‘for the sake of my mental health’ while also expressing, ‘I don’t know what the future holds.’
And on Friday, while talking to TMZ during an outing in L.A. following the shock revelation, Brittany said that she was willing to give Jax another chance.
When asked how the estranged couple were attempting to ‘work through their troubles,’ the mother-of-one said, ‘I mean, it’s Jax. So, he’s not really trying that much right now.’
In regards to if the two have considered marriage counseling, she replied, ‘I mean, I’ve asked him for a while to do certain things and nothing has come from that yet.’
Cartwright also shut down speculation that the split and moving out is simply a publicity stunt before their new, spinoff reality series The Valley is released later this month.

‘This is definitely for my mental health. Like, I think that has been one of the hardest parts right now – that people are speculating that I am doing something for the show coming up…No.’
The reality star continued, ‘Whenever you fight with somebody for so long, there’s only so much that you can take.’
‘And I deserve better, Cruz deserves better. We want a good co-parenting relationship and I think moving out and taking space to figure out if this is what I want is the best situation for me right now.’
Brittany then added, ‘Listen, I love Jax so much. I really do. And I just want the best for me and for my son…that’s my main focus.’
‘But for sure, if you know, he switches some things and changes some things about his life, then maybe we can get back together. But right now, I just, I don’t know.’
In regards to if their split will be seen on The Valley, she replied, ‘I think, gradually, people will be able to see throughout the season why we ended up where we are right now.’
Cartwright also expressed that both she and Jax are still planning to star on their joint podcast despite the separation.
‘Podcast is still happening, our bar is still happening, show is still happening. It’s just a lot going on right now.’

Only hours after Brittany revealed on their podcast that they are ‘taking time apart’ after four years of marriage, Taylor told Page Six that they were not planning for ‘divorce.’
‘We’re together. We’re living in our home right now,’ he said, while also claiming that Brittany had already moved back in to their marital home in Sherman Oaks.
‘She was in a house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now,’ the TV personality added to the outlet.
‘It’s not evil or nastiness. It’s just two people that you know are hitting a 10-year mark in their marriage.’
The star explained that the split is ‘all fresh and new’ as both he and Cartwright attempt to ‘figure out’ the next steps for their future.
‘We’re just spending some time apart and just trying to re-assess, you know, our situation. We have a child involved and we just wanna do what’s best for our kid.’
Despite Taylor’s claims, Brittany was seen earlier on Thursday packing up an assortment of belongings into a car while moving out of their marital home.
The two were also spotted briefly reuniting on Monday as Jax stopped by her $15k-a-month rental home that is 12 minutes away from her estranged husband.

The Valley is set to premiere later this month on March 19 on Bravo and notably stars both Taylor and Cartwright
Jax and Brittany first began dating nearly 10 years earlier in 2015 after first crossing paths in Las Vegas. However, they split two years later after Taylor cheated with their co-star Faith Stowers.
After reconciling, the reality stars tied the knot in 2019 during a romantic ceremony with around 240 guests in attendance to witness the nuptials.
The Valley is set to premiere later this month on March 19 on Bravo and notably stars both Taylor and Cartwright.
The official premise ‘follows a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships.’
