Jason Manford has appeared to hint wife Lucy Dyke was expecting his seventh child with a cryptic Instagram post, despite undergoing a vasectomy in 2023.
The comedian, 44, who already shares two daughters with the TV producer, shared a snap on Sunday of himself in what appeared to be a hospital waiting room.
Jason was sat beneath a photo of an ultrasound and while rolling his eyes, captioned the post: ‘Here we go again’.
He also shares his four older children – 15-year-old twin girls, a 12-year-old daughter and ten-year-old son, with ex-wife Catherine from whom he split in 2013.Â

Following the post fans rushed to the comments unsure if he was joking or was indeed set to become a father yet again. Â

In 2023 Jason ruled out having anymore children and revealed he had undergone a vasectomy during an appearance on Loose Women.Â
Vasectomy, also called male sterilisation, is a permanent method of contraception, the procedure stops sperm being ejaculated from the penis during sex.Â
When asked about growing his family further during his ITV appearance, he quipped: ‘It would be a medical impossibility, shall we say?’.Â
 ‘I did the respectable thing, eventually, and had the snip.’Â
He previously told Daily Mail that he no desire to add to his brood and needed a ‘spreadsheet’ to organise his six children.
He opened up about family life during an exclusive interview, where he also admitted taking his young family on a long-haul flight solo is not as hard as people would imagine.
He explained the secret to managing children is having as many as possible, so they learn to look after each other, though he’s definitely reached his limit at six.

Jason said: ‘I took a flight and flew with all six of them by myself. ‘It was a bit mad, but people think it’s harder than it is. You get to a certain point where they look after themselves.
Before adding:Â ‘I wouldn’t have anymore, absolutely not. 100 per cent no.
‘Even now I’m with my sister, her partner and their baby and even after about five minutes of holding my nephew I’m like nope… I don’t miss this bit. I don’t pine for it at all.’
Earlier this year the funnyman caught the attention of fans with his latest Instagram post as they couldn’t get over his very trim appearance.
He posted a clip offering his followers a ticket offer for his upcoming stand-up shows, but it was his looks that got people talking as several users remarked the star was looking slimmer and younger.
Taking to the comments, they wrote:Â ‘You look loads younger?!!’… ‘Looking very trim!’ … ‘Looking lean’… ‘You look loads younger?!’
‘Are you sure you’re Jason Manford? You don’t look like him, you look brilliant!
One even flat out asked Jason if he has been taking weight loss jab Ozempic to achieve his healthy appearance.Â
