Jason Bateman sported a bandaged hand on set of Netflix’s upcoming limited series, Black Rabbit, while receiving direction from his former Ozark costar Laura Linney.
The 55-year-old actor listened intently to Linney’s instructions as he sat on a doorstep in New York City after shooting a scene with Michael Cash.
He and Linney, 60, previously starred as husband and wife, Marty and Wendy Byrde, for four seasons on the crime series, Ozark, from 2017 to 2022.
While in character as Vince Friedken, the father-of-two sported a ‘Coney Island’ t-shirt, charcoal grey pants and black boots.
For the role he’s also grown his hair long and scruffy beard.

In May, it was revealed by on Netflix’s official site, Tudum, that Bateman would be directing the first two episodes while Linney would be in charge of directing the third and fourth.
According to the official synopsis: ‘When the owner of a New York City hotspot, Jake Friedken (Jude Law) allows his chaotic brother Vince (Jason Bateman) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.’
Jason and Jude are set to portray complex characters in Black Rabbit as they will play brothers, a dynamic that is sure to captivate viewers when the series, first announced in October 2022, premieres.
The show has been teased as being a tense sibling drama, with the owner of New York City hotspot allowing his chaotic brother to come back into his life.
However, this decision opens to door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.
Jason’s new look caused a stir with fans earlier this month as he showed it off at an NBA game at Madison Square Garden.
He was seen sitting courtside with fellow actor Justin Theroux to watch the New York Knicks triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Fans could not help but notice Jason’s hairier appearance and were divided, taking to social media to either praise or poke fun at the look.

Over the years, Bateman, who began his career as a child actor in the early 1980s, has received several awards, including a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and three SAG Awards.
Additionally, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017.
Bateman has been married to actress and producer Amanda Anka since 2001.
The pair share two daughters, Franny and Maple.
