Jase Hawkins looked downcast as he left the KIIS FM Melbourne studio for the last time Friday morning after the Jase & Lauren breakfast show was axed.
The radio star, 42, exited the building alone carrying blue giftboxes as co-host Lauren Phillips ducked out the backdoor to avoid being seen.
Rugged up against the cold in a bright green hoody and khaki slacks, the media personality accessorised with a pair of white sneakers and a black jacket.
Carrying the outerwear over one arm as he struggled to carry his boxes, Jase pulled a Deus Ex Machina hat low over his face.
When the radio host finally made it to the road, he rested his belonging’s on top of the mailbox of his now former workplace and ordered a ride.

Despite being axed to make way for Sydney’s popular Kyle and Jackie O Show, Jase and Lauren, 36, made the most of their final week on air.
The radio duo spent much of the time mocking their shock jock replacement Kyle Sandilands while discussing how Chiko Rolls are made.
Jase told Lauren they were better off not knowing, adding: ‘I think it’s former employees. They just grind them down, seriously.’

Last week, it was reported Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson signed a historic $200million 10-year radio deal which will see them expand to Melbourne on their Sydney station – keeping them on the airwaves until 2034.

Jase and Lauren’s program was successful for KIIS FM, bringing in new listeners for the station and sitting third in the Melbourne market behind Fox FM’s Fifi Fev & Nick and GOLD104.3’s Christian O’Connell.
Jase and Lauren made the shock announcement live-on air, revealing they were informed they were out of a job via a phone call from ARN bosses the night before.
Jase – who began his radio career in 2004 at Triple M and previously worked on The Kyle and Jackie O Show – sounded shattered as he recalled receiving the news at 6pm the night before while he was putting his three children – Felix, nine, Huddy, seven and Archie, one – to bed.
Jase and Lauren became even more emotional as they reminisced on all the experiences they had shared during their two and a half years on the air and they revealed their final show would be on Friday, December 1.
