Seymour is in a new romance with musician John Zambetti, 73, who has performed for decades with the band The Malibooz.
She spoke with DailyMail.com in New York City at The Polo Bar last week, describing her relationship with the musical artist: ‘This is something uniquely special and it’s a gift at this time of my life.
‘And I think he feels the same way. He’s lovely and he’s obviously very intelligent, but also very supportive. Everyone I know loves him. They all adore him.’
Zambetti said of his girlfriend is ‘a great kisser’ and ‘an amazing woman,’ adding they were both smitten in the romance.
‘We are both so happy and just enjoying the fact we have found each other,’ he said. ‘I think Mick Jagger said, “There’s not much time left so there’s no point wasting it.”‘
Zambetti said he and Seymour ‘aren’t getting weighed down by rules or expectations or anything’ in dating one another.
The actress took to Instagram October 1 to confirm her romance with Zambetti, a singer/songwriter who also plays the bass and keyboards.
Seymour captioned an image of the pair, ‘I’ve never been happier’ with a smiling emoji with hearts, as she posed with the musician in front of an infinity pool and a long dining table.

Seymour received many kind words from friends and Hollywood colleagues in response to the post, including Lindsay Lohan, who posted an emoji with heart eyes.
‘It’s great to see you, so happy John’s a really nice guy,’ actor Joe Lando said. ‘Good for you Miss Jane.’
Linda Thompson, the ex-wife of Caitlyn Jenner and mother of Brody Jenner, said, ‘Lovely couple! And you are so richly deserving of every happiness! Love you!!’
A user said to The Live and Let Die actress, ‘Your dress is stunning as your new partner is. He looks handsome and exactly like the man you need.’
Another said, ‘What a beautiful couple!!! Your smile says everything!! Wishing the best for you both.’
The Somewhere in Time actress’s most recent romance prior to the musician was with movie producer David Green, as they dated for nearly a decade.
Seymour told The Times in April that Green, 74, had proposed to her in the past, but she felt exchanging vows with him ‘would be the most horrible thing in the world’ in terms of the dynamics of their relationship.
She added, ‘I just said I would never put a number on his name.’
Seymour the last two years has played the titular role on the Acorn TV series Harry Wild
Seymour has been wed four times in the past: to Michael Attenborough between 1971 to 1973; Geoffrey Planer between 1977 to 1978; David Flynn, from 1981 to 1992; and James Keach from 1993 to 2015

She told The Times that despite the divorces, she remained ‘very, very close to all the men I was married to and every man I ever dated.
‘Every time I see someone I used to be involved with, even if it was for a short time, I’m close to them. You see, I think it’s hard to be with somebody who’s well-known and on the red carpet.’
Speaking with People in 2012, Seymour said that the most important lesson she took from her marriages was ‘to let go’ of painful things and ‘try to find a way to communicate and keep what was good in the relationship.’
