The One Tree Hill alum, 39, and her soon-to-be husband confirmed via Instagram that their baby son arrived on Monday, November 13 weighing in at 6 lbs., 1 oz.
‘Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell,’ she gushed in a statement to PEOPLE. ‘We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together.’
They then revealed the reason why they decided to name their firstborn Roman.
‘The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our Grandpa’s names, so that was a nod to them,’ they told the outlet Tuesday.
Jana gave fans their first look at the baby boy in a clip shared to her Instagram Story.
