Jamie Foxx was a proud dad as he celebrated his daughter Anelise’s 16th birthday on Wednesday.
The actor, 56, shared two Instagram posts for the occasion, and penned a sweet caption for his daughter.
‘I have watched you grow. It has been nothing short of extraordinary. I cannot believe that you are 16 years old today,’ the Oscar winner — who recently walked his other daughter down the aisle at her wedding — wrote.
‘Anelise, you are a force to be reckoned with happy birthday to you. You’re just getting started the ones that know know…. I love you to the moon and back. SWEET SWEET SIXTEEN!!!!!!’
Earlier in the day he shared another carousel of photos, writing, ‘Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet 16!!!!! Where did the time go?????? Happy happy happy happy birthday, Anelise!!!!’

The actor — who suffered a near-death ‘medical complication in 2023 — also shared a number of adorable snaps, including some of him and Anelise, as well as some childhood throwbacks.
One more recent snap showed the dynamic duo standing back to back, with Anelise holding a guitar and rocking a denim outfit.
Also among the snaps he shared was a childhood photo of Anelise in a Rolls Royce.
Earlier this year, Foxx posted a series of photos of the teenager on his Instagram, including one of her sporting a Louis Vuitton outfit.
‘Anelise,’ he wrote over one photo, adding the hashtags ‘#DaddyDaughterTime,’ as well as ‘#GrowinIp’ and ‘LVDrip.’
Foxx — who is currently dating Alyce Huckstepp — shares Anelise with ex Kristin Granni.
He is also dad to daughter Corinne, 30, whom he shares with ex Connie Kline.
Earlier this month newlywed Corinne shared some of the details of how her engagement plans changed when her father Jamie faced his medical emergency in April 2023.
Her now-husband Joe Hooten had planned to propose in Ireland, but the couple found themselves at Foxx’s bedside in Chicago while he recovered.

‘Little did I know that Joe had changed his plans so he could still propose on the same day — just in a different city,’ she said in a new interview for Vogue.
‘He flew in my mom from Los Angeles and had my aunts hiding in a bush FaceTiming my dad the entire time,’ she explained.
‘He even planned a very special post-engagement party in my dad’s room [at a physical rehabilitation center] in Chicago. It was a small celebration, but it was so intimate and meaningful.’
The loved up couple married at Jamie’s Los Angeles home and the Jamie Foxx Show star walked his daughter down the aisle.
Corinne chose a meaningful song for the father-daughter moment.
‘I walked down to a strings version of Georgia On My Mind by Ray Charles. My dad won his Oscar for playing [Ray] in 2005,’ the bride explained.
Corinne attended the Academy Awards with her father when he won the Best Actor awards for his portrayal of Ray Charles.
‘At 10 years old, I was his plus one and got to share that special moment with him. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we came down the aisle,’ she gushed.
‘It was incredibly special, considering his health scare last year,’ Corinne said.
Last month Jamie proudly walked his eldest daughter Corinne down the aisle during her lavish wedding to college sweetheart Joe Hooten at his home in Los Angeles
In July 2023, Jamie took to Instagram to give a detailed update on his recovery for the first time, thanking his fans and God
‘We always knew we’d get married in my dad’s backyard,’ she said. ‘He has the most gorgeous property. It already looks like a wedding venue.’
‘We couldn’t think of anywhere more special than a home wedding. It just felt right.’
The Oscar winner also enjoyed a miraculous daddy-daughter dance with the bride at her reception – 17 months after suffering a near-death ‘medical complication,’ which put him in a 20-day coma and left him unable to walk.
Jamie was hospitalized for an unspecified medical emergency while filming Back in Action with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta – with the star later revealing he was left unable to walk and ‘saw the tunnel but not the light’ as he battled for survival.
He was filmed in Phoenix in July opening up to fans about his his medical emergency, revealing it began with ‘a bad headache’ which saw him ‘ask for Advil’ – before he woke up almost three weeks later with no memory of what had happened.
