An A-list film star left staff stunned when he dropped by a Thai street food restaurant over the weekend.
The actor began his career as a gymnast and dancer before becoming a leading man in Denmark and Scandinavia.
His big break came with the 2006 James Bond hit Casino Royale, launching him onto the global stage.
Since then, he’s starred in major Hollywood films and critically acclaimed productions.
So it comes as no surprise that staff couldn’t’ believe their eyes when he casually walked into their restaurant.
He looked completely different from his time in the Bond franchise, but can you guess who the former co-star of Daniel Craig might be?

That’s right, it’s none other than Mads Mikkelsen!

They wrote alongside it: ‘A huge thank you to the brilliant Mads Mikkelsen for visiting Zaap Leeds this weekend!
‘An incredible actor and an even kinder man, it was a pleasure to welcome you.
‘From Fantastic Beasts to 007, and now to ZAAP Thai – a man of great taste!
‘We’re honoured you chose to dine with us. Hope to see you again soon, Mads!’
Zaap is located in the Grand Arcade on Vicar Lane in Leeds City Centre.

The restaurant aims to make guests feel like they’ve been ‘transported into a Bangkok street food market,’ as per the official description on the website.
There are over 80 authentic Thai street food dishes on the menu, with prices varying from £5.95 for Japanese style dumplings to £24.99 for a Bangkok platter.
Mads moved into acting in the early 90s and became a successful Danish film star.
His later starring roles include King Arthur, Clash Of The Titans, Age Of Uprising, and Rogue One: Star Wars.
He famously replaced Johnny Depp in the role of Gellert Grindelwald for the third movie in the Fantastic Beasts film series after the actor was let go from the role.
In August 2020, he praised Johnny as an ‘amazing actor’ and said the star may return to the Fantastic Beasts film franchise in the future.

He told Deadline: ‘Having said that, I could not copy it. There’s there was no way I could just copy it, because it’s so much him. It would be creative suicide.
‘So, we had to come up with something else, something that was mine, and build a bridge between him and me. So, yes, it was intimidating.
‘His fans were very, very sweet, but they were also very stubborn. I didn’t interact too much with them, but I could understand why they had their hearts broken.’
Johnny withdrew from the franchise due to his much-publicized court case with ex-wife Amber Heard.
However, he has now told in a new interview that he felt ‘shunned, dumped, [and] cancelled’ in the aftermath of the trial.
He told The Telegraph: ‘It literally stopped in a millisecond. Like, while I was doing the movie. They said we’d like you to resign. But what was really in my head was they wanted me to retire’.
He added: ‘There’s far too many of me to kill. If you think you can hurt me more than I’ve already been hurt you’re gravely mistaken.
