Pierce Brosnan delighted fans as he warmly greeted them after they turned up outside his $100M Malibu home.

The Irish actor, 72, was seen pausing to chat with a family who had gathered near his oceanfront property, taking time to chat and pose for photos.

The fan later shared a clip of the encounter on X, capturing the former 007 star in high spirits as he welcomed them outside his sprawling mansion.

‘James Bond he said isn’t it! Happy New Year to you and your family,’ the fan shouted.

‘Good blessings to you all,’ Pierce replied as he shook their hands, before asking: ‘Where you all from?’

‘Ireland.. obviously,’ the fan replied.

‘I know where,’ Pierce asked.

The fan then explained: ‘Me mums family is from Donegal, my dads Kerry, but from all over Ireland.’

Her partner later shook the actor’s hand as he beamed: ‘Pleasure to meet you.’

The star then happily posed for photos with the family.

‘Pierce Brosnan lovely man even hung around for pictures after,’ they wrote alongside the clip.

Pierce has listed the home several times before, even advertising the spot as a $120,000 a month rental back in 2004.

The actor developed the Southeast Asian-inspired compound after snapping up two adjacent properties for a combined $7.35 million in 2000, per property records.

If sold for asking price, it would have been one of the more expensive properties in the already-upscale Broad Beach area, which is home to the likes of fellow Hollywood legends Danny DeVito and Dustin Hoffman.

The Malibu home’s decor is a nod to Thailand, where Pierce filmed the 1997 Bond flick Tomorrow Never Dies.

Covering over an acre, the estate is home to two residences with five bedrooms and 14 bathrooms total.

The main property, which took over a decade to craft, is called the Orchid House and covers nearly 12,500 square feet.

It features a theater, a climate-controlled wine cellar for roughly 200 bottles of wine, a gym, a music room and a travertine-wall spa with two soaking tubs.

The James Bond actor is a father of five as he shares Dylan and Paris, 24, with wife Keely.

He also shares his late daughter, Charlotte, and sons, Christopher, 53, and Sean, 42, with his first wife, the late actress Cassandra Harris.

In November, Dylan was seen alongside his father as the former James Bond star reunited with his estranged son, Christopher at an upmarket restaurant in the English capital.

Pierce appeared to be building bridges with his adopted son after years of estrangement brought about by his son’s crippling addiction to cocaine and heroin.

Of their meeting, a source told The Mirror: ‘They both looked happy and relaxed while sitting down with one of Brosnan’s other sons, Dylan.

‘Pierce and Christopher’s problems have been well documented. But it seems they’ve managed to put them behind them. It was really nice to see them together.’

Speaking in 2005, Pierce admitted his eldest son’s spiralling addiction to Class-A drugs had prompted him to cut all ties.

‘Christopher is still very lost,’ he told Playboy. ‘Shockingly so. I know where he is, but he’s having a hard life.

‘I can only have strong faith and believe he will recover. He has tested everybody in this family, but none more so than himself.

‘He knows how to get out. He doesn’t want to.’

He added: ‘It’s painful because you shut down. You never completely cut them off, but I have cut Christopher off.

‘I had to say, “Go. Get busy living, or get busy dying”. He has my prayers.’
