Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has revealed that after she had an accident on stage and had to carry on singing in the mini-skirt she was wearing.
Jade said her mishap happened just as she was going on to perform – leaving her with no time to change – but to make matters worse she had to prance along on a transparent bridge above the eyes of the crowd.
Revealing the embarrassing gig moment, Jade, 31, said: ‘I did sh*t myself on stage once.
‘It was on one of the Little Mix arena tours and I wasn’t very well. I was really poorly and I had a Sunday roast before I went on stage.

Revealing the embarrassing gig moment, Jade, 31, said: ‘I did sh*t myself on stage once. ‘It was on one of the Little Mix arena tours and I wasn’t very well’
‘So I was dancing with the devil a bit there.
‘And at the beginning of the show we’d rise up on a man-lift – it would be like this big introduction – and I was with my security and I had to crouch down before we (were) lifted up.
‘And I had like a nervous fart and I sharted!’
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on his Sidetracked with Annie and Nick podcast, where Jade was filling in to co-host for the absent Annie Mac, Thirlwall said she had won little sympathy when she revealed her accident.
She said: ‘I turned around to the security. I went “I’ve sh*t myself2, and Warren went “ah, like that’s so funny”.’
‘I was like, “no, Warren”. And then (the music kicked) in and I just started rising on to the stage. And yeah, I did the whole show like that because I couldn’t get changed.
‘In that show we had a clear bridge over the arena and I was in a mini skirt! But the show must go on.’
Jade has embarked on a solo career since Little Mix disbanded in 2022.

She became the final member of Little Mix to go solo when Angel Of My Dreams dropped last month.
Speaking about releasing solo music for the first time, Jade said: ‘We were together for 11 years. So every album cycle, I knew what to expect. But this process has been so different…
‘I was so conditioned for so long to have that pressure of churning out music that I really had to reprogram myself to just exist with a less chaotic mindset and less pressure.
‘My whole life had been scheduled. Little Mix would always have a year-long diary in place. To not have that anymore was so scary. But once I got over that, I was like: “This is really exciting. Now I write the diary.”‘
