Jacquie Roar was instantly saved in the final moments of Tuesday’s live episode of The Voice and became the fifth finalist as four others were eliminated.
The 38-year-old singer from North Plains, Oregon, immediately started crying and then hugged the four singers who were eliminated.
Jacquie after winning the instant save became one of the five singers advancing to the season 24 finals that start next week. Moments before she was saved, Jacquie thanked new coach Reba McEntire, 68, for being a genuine mentor and giving her advice that she could use for the rest of her career.
‘Everybody at The Voice loves you and loves your talent,’ Reba said.
Jacquie performed Alone to gain her spot in the finale and won the audience’s instant save vote. Reba was stunned by her performance.

The show kicked off with a live duet performance from Niall Horan, 30, singing his hit song The Show with John Legend, 44, who sang and played the piano.
The remaining contestants first took a moment to thank the show and their fans for building their confidence before being told the results.
‘It was the greatest honor to close the show,’ said Lila Forde, from Team Legend, who performed River by Joni Mitchell in the semi-finals.
Jordan Rainer, 33, from Nashville, on Team Reba, thanked her fans for backing her this far. She also thanked America for embracing her as she was.
‘I know I’m a little different and I’m a little bit of a handful but I love you,’ Jordan said.
Show host Carson Daly, 50, then announced that first finalist saved was Lila from Team Legend.
‘Oh my God,’ Lila said.

John hugged her and walked off the stage practically screaming.
Carson then asked Team Gwen’s country singer Bias, 23, from Tennessee, what he wanted America to know about him.
‘I just want to thank America and Gwen for allowing me to be who I am,’ Bias said. ‘Allowing me to be confident with who I am.’
The next artist saved was Huntley, 33, from Fredericksburg, Virginia. Niall, his coach, quickly congratulated him.
Then, Carson announced the third finalist was 16-year-old Ruby Leigh from Foley, Missouri, on Team Reba.
‘Way to go,’ Reba said.
John wearing, a long red jacket and red shirt, took the stage again to sing his hit What Christmas Means To Me from his album A Legendary Christmas. Reba stood up and clapped along. Gwen Stefani, 54, danced to the music and the crowd gave him a standing ovation when he finished.
Carson asked Nini Iris from Team Niall what she learned being on The Voice.

‘I learned to be a great performer you also have to be a great story teller,’ Nini said ‘I learned that from my Coach Niall.’
Carson then announced that the fourth finalist was Mara Justine, 21, Galloway Township, New Jersey, from Team Niall. She ran out and hugged Niall.
The remaining contestants then each took the stage each battling it out to win the final spot, the show’s instant save.
Nini went first during the Instant Save singing Mad World.
‘We’ve got an artist here,’ Niall said. ‘A real deal artist.’
Team Gwen’s Bias then sang Go Rest High On That Mountain by Vince Gill.
‘Nice work,’ Carson said.
‘That was so beautiful,’ Gwen said. ‘It was so real, honest, pure, all the things that you are. Honestly whatever happens you have definitely spoken to people out there in America and you have spoken to me. You are so talented.’

Team Reba’s Jordan went next and performed I Don’t Dance.
‘Four foot eleven you are a powerhouse gladiator,’ Reba said. ‘You are a force of nature. I’ve watched you in this whole competition. I’m so proud of you. And we see a different side of you to everything you come on this stage. You’re great!’
Mac Royals, 24, from Team Legend hailing from Wrightsville, Arkansas, was the last performer during the Instant Save and sang I Wanna Know.
‘Mac has just been giving us exquisite R&B music every single week,’ John said. ‘I’ve been saying it for quite a while. I believe in you as a R&B male singer. I don’t think I have for anyone artist that I have worked with on this show and you are so special. You belong in our industry. You belong making records and you belong in the finale on The Voice.’

‘I think you are one of the rare ones we see,’ Niall said.
Bias then thanked Gwen for believing him when no one else would.
‘You just have this thing about you,’ Gwen said.
Jordan then took a moment to thank Reba for her help and inspiration.
‘Ten years in the business so far and it’s been a tough business, it’s been a tough road and I’ve heard the word ‘no’ a lot and you were my first and my most prized ‘yes,’ Jordan said. ‘Thank you for turning your chair for me.’
‘I’d turn my chair for you anytime,’ Reba said. ‘Jordan you are great. You are so different and that’s what we need in country music.’

Nini, Mac, Jordan and Bias were eliminated from the competition as Jacquie won the Instant Save.
The Voice will return next Monday on NBC.
