A candle claiming to capture the essence of actor Jacob Elordi’s bath water has hit online marketplace Etsy.
The scented candle has been inspired by an eyebrow-raising scene in Amazon Prime movie Saltburn, where main character Oliver (played by Barry Keoghan) takes a sip of bathwater his co-star Elordi’s character Felix used.
‘Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater’ candle has been listed alongside Gwyneth Paltrow’s risqué ‘This Smells Like My Orgasm’ candle.
The scent is cheekily described as reminiscent of Elordi’s climactic movie moment.
Retailing for $26 on Etsy and with a marked-up price on Amazon at $36, the candle became a hot topic after its promotion through a viral TikTok video.

In an interview with Stream Wars, Elordi shared his thoughts on the controversial scene, praising the film’s director Emerald Fennell for the idea.

‘So it’s just great that [Fennell] was allowed to kind of push those boundaries and expose people like that.’

The Euphoria star went on to admit he’s been mostly avoiding other people’s reactions to the film, but did get a sense of viewers’ opinions of the bathtub scene in a movie screening.
‘I haven’t really heard too many because I try to hide away from it,’ he explained. ‘But I went to a screening of the picture in Brisbane when it sort of first played and it was unbelievable because everybody was engaged and sort of gasping at the screen and yelling at the screen and everything like that.
‘And I haven’t been in a movie like that in a really really long time. So, I haven’t heard any of the really — I mean, I hope there’s no terrible stories, but yeah.’
