Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed why her marriage to her ex-husband Lee Henderson fell apart.
The couple parted ways in 2018, and share one daughter Kitty, 13.
Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie Show, the mother-of-one hinted that a lack of spontaneous romance in their relationship was a catalyst for the split.
‘In a marriage, when you have a child keep on top of that every now and then,’ she told co-host Kyle Sandilands.
Kyle then suggested the marriage may have been saved if she had spent more time preparing dinners for her husband.
‘If you’d have put on a Tuesday taco night it might have been a different ending,’ he said. ‘Rissole Wednesday?’
Jackie replied: ‘I’m not saying that alone saves it, I’m just saying that it is appreciated when you do something nice for your partner.
‘Don’t become complacent.’

Kyle then offered his own theory about the split, arguing it was due to Lee’s penchant for ‘models’.
I reckon it was ruined when you walked in and saw him sticking them stickers on the WWII balsa wood plane. You thought “Is this my life?,”‘ he said.
‘That never happened,” Jackie protested. ‘He never once made an airplane.’
Kyle then corrected himself with: ‘Sorry, the Star Wars thing or whatever it was.’
‘I like Lee and I don’t blame Lee for sinking into the models. I told him do a couple of models. He must’ve mistook me, I meant Victoria’s Secret,’ he joked.
Jackie also gave an insight into the current state of her relationship with Lee, six years after their split.
She confirmed she was on good terms with her former husband, 50.
‘I like him still,’ Jackie revealed.
‘As a person, I get on well with him. We’re good. We never have bad blood, Lee and I.’
After Kyle replied with: ‘You just never spoke,’ Jackie added that the communication lines are well and truly open between the two.
‘No we spoke because we co-parent,’ she said.

The pair also discussed Jackie’s love life.
The blonde beauty said she did want to find love again after newsreader Brooklyn Ross asked the host how she felt about the prospect of spending the rest of her life alone.
‘I am not totally ok with that,’ Jackie said.
‘I don’t think there’s anything wrong with me for wanting that. It is natural for us to want human connection – that’s who we are.
‘The idea of that being forever, that’s not ideal but if you said its going to be for the next three four years I’d be like ok.’
Jackie has been married twice in the past with her first husband being DJ ‘Ugly’ Phil O’Neil in the late ’90s.

Following their divorce, Phil moved to the United Kingdom where he was originally born.
Jackie went on to marry UK photographer Lee in 2003 with the pair welcoming their daughter Catalina “Kitty” Henderson in December 2010.
The couple announced their separation in October 2018, but continue to have an amicable relationship as they co-parent their daughter.
Speaking with fans at Luke McLeod’s book launch for Everyday Enlightenment on in February, the radio titan admitted she is ‘desperate’ to find love and companionship once more.
She explained she had lunch with McLeod last year when they got onto the topic of her love life and how she felt she was ‘missing something’.
‘I just really want to find someone. I can’t find him and I’m sort of a bit lost at the moment,’ she told him during their catch up.
When Luke asked why she was so desperate to get into a relationship, Jackie said she couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but it felt like ‘a piece’ of her was ‘missing’.
‘I have a lot of love to give or I want that affection, that company. It just feels like there’s something missing in my life,’ she added.
