Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and her bestie Gemma O’Neill show off their plush $2000-a-night hotel rooms in Berlin as they arrive for girl’s trip

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has jetted off on a ‘working holiday’ to Europe with her best friend and podcast co-host Gemma O’Neill.

The pair departed Sydney Airport on Monday for the trip, which will see them visit Berlin and Athens.

The KIIS FM star and her manager set out for dinner at 6pm local time in Berlin after 24 hours of travel, posting updates to Instagram Stories. 

‘This whole trip, Gemma has been given special treatment,’ Jackie said, as she marveled over her friend’s ‘penthouse’ suite. 

The duo are staying at SoHo House Berlin, where rooms can cost up to $2000-a-night and members of the international private member’s club receive discounted rates.   

Gemma has the largest possible bedroom in the late-Bauhaus heritage building— which has 65 rooms, including 20 apartments and four lofts. 

In four videos, Jackie filmed her friend reacting in shock and awe at the sheer scale of her opulent hotel suite and its lavish five-star amenities. 

‘My bed is a ridiculous, it’s bigger than a king,’ she said.

‘Look how massive this bed is! It’s like a huge penthouse.’ 

The largest bedroom in the house is 100-square-metres and features plush 1970s-inspired interiors, a living area, a dining space and a freestanding silver bath tub in front of the king-sized bed. 

‘I walked in and was like…’ Gemma trailed off as she marveled at the space. 

The room is listed as the ‘Extra Large’ on the hotel website. 

The Grade II heritage-listed property was built in 1928, and includes a rooftop pool and garden, a gym with a studio and personal trainers, a Cowshed spa, and a hammam (Turkish bathhouse). 

There’s also a red-velvet ‘screening room,’ and a Cecconi’s restaurant on site. 

‘I have to show you guys,’ Jackie said, despite club venues famously having a no-photos policy. 

‘The shower is too big. Look! it’s double sided! What could you possible need the space for,’ Gemma said as she toured the bathroom. 

Each room also has a rainforest shower, Nespresso machine and a range of expensive beauty products. 

‘I don’t know how I’ve ended up with this.’ 

Founded in London during the 90s, SoHo house turned the notion of an exclusive gentlemen’s only club on its head. 

‘Unlike other members’ clubs, which often focus on wealth and status, we aim to assemble communities of members that have something in common: namely, a creative soul,’ the website reads. 

The ‘If You Know You Know’ string of celebrity-frequented ‘houses’ are now in 17 countries, with Sydney to get its own at 256 Crown Street in the ‘next few years.’ 

‘I need you to leave so I can have a bath,’ Gemma told Jackie to end the tour. 

Jackie enjoyed a Greek getaway with Gemma in 2024, where they stayed at the luxury Soho Roc House. 

Prior to her flight, Jackie also shared some clips to her Instagram story that showed the excited besties preparing to board.

‘Only six months ago I was crying on a plane saying: “We’re never going to have another girl’s trip, and here we are,’ Gemma said to Jackie as they walked through the airport.

Jackie added: ‘Here we are. We are going to Berlin and then to Athens. We’ve never been to either, so another girl’s trip, here we come.’

Gemma jumped in to remind followers that their trip was strictly professional.

‘It is a work trip though, I should point out. We’ll have some fun along the way,’ she said. 

‘Berlin’s not. Berlin’s a holiday,’ Jackie added and told her fans that the pair would check in later.

Her bestie replied with a cheeky: ‘I’ll be drunk.’

‘She will be, you know. ‘Lucky you.’ Jackie replied.

If the couple’s past overseas jaunts are anything to go by, Jackie and Gemma are in for quite the time.
