Jack Whitehall discovered girlfriend Roxy has the ‘number one’ stripper name while deciding what to name his new baby daughter Elsie, the comedian revealed on The Graham Norton Show on Friday.
The Bad Education star, 35, welcomed his first child with his British model girlfriend Roxy Horner, 32, in September.
He told Graham and the other guests how he and Roxy went about the naming process for baby Elsie.
Jack shared: ‘About a month before she was born, I had to spike some inappropriate names my girlfriend Roxy suggested. One day she asked what I thought of ‘Phoenix’.
‘I said, “Over my dead body, it’s a stripper’s name.” Asked how I knew, I found myself googling the top ten strippers’ names. Phoenix is not on the list, but number one is Roxy!’

It’s been a month since Jack and Roxy brought Elsie home to their £17.5 million home in Notting Hill.
Roxy unfortunately suffered from complications following Elsie’s birth, and was diagnosed with SPD, a condition causing pelvic stiffness.
Jack and Roxy have been together since 2020, after they met during Jack’s trip to Australia.
He previously dated actress Gemma Chan for six years, having met her on the set of his Channel 4 comedy-dram Fresh Meat.
Roxy has been linked to the likes of Joey Essex and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Asked if his material for his stand-up tour has changed now he is a father, he said, ‘It’s changed a bit and I do feel a bit guilty that I am making punchlines up about her!’
