Married At First Sight’s Jack Dunkley has copped plenty of criticism for wearing revealing outfits that shamelessly flaunt his heavily-tattooed physique.
But now, the reality TV villain has opened up to Daily Mail Australia about the meanings behind his plentiful ink.
The Gold Coast-based personal trainer’s journey into the world of ink began at age 17 when he had the phrase ‘Life Chance’ emblazoned across his bicep.
One of Jack’s more recent tatts is his controversial dedication to ‘wife’ Tori, with the couple’s relationship forming the dramatic backbone of this year’s blockbuster MAFS season.
The Cupid-style devil holds a special place in Jack’s heart, dedicated to his ‘beautiful wife Tori’ during the filming of MAFS, with the TV bride getting her own matching ink.

Other notable designs include the rose on his hand, symbolising the carefree days after launching his personal training business.
Meanwhile, a heart on his little finger is in honor of his beloved puppy.
Now he can’t get enough of the intricate designs and is the proud owner of over 10 tattoos, having spent over $10,000 on ink over the years.

Among Jack’s collection is three rings on his leg done by none other than Lucky Diamond, a Guinness World Record holder for the most tattooed man.
One of his most telling pieces is the ‘trust no one’ tattoo, accompanied by an image of a snake biting a hand, a stark reminder of a deal gone sour following his stint on the Channel Nine show.
Another was inspired by a pivotal phone call from the show’s producers, a heart pierced by a knife, accompanied by the words ‘Love & War’.

Jack also has the words ‘c’est la vie’ translating to ‘such is life’ in French printed across his chest, following his AFL hero Ben Cousins.
Another, a tattoo of a traditional panther on his leg, ‘cunning and fast,’ he laughs.

As for the naked mermaid gracing his skin, Jack smirks at the thought, deeming it a good conversation starter with a shrug and a ‘why not?’
‘All my tattoos are ‘Traditional style’,’ Jack notes, citing loyalty to his preferred tattoo artist on the Gold Coast.
On his passion for tattoos, Jack says: ‘I will continue to book in until the day I die as I think they are a lot of fun & enjoy expressing myself any way I can. Can’t take life too seriously.’
