Jennifer Lopez is finally addressing a wild rumor she once cut dancers from an audition due to their astrological sign – and did not exactly deny it.
In 2022, Glee alum Heather Morris claimed Lopez had eliminated dancers from a try-out specifically because they were Virgos.
Morris, 38, insisted at the time it was all ‘hearsay’, but Lopez, 56, is now acknowledging there may have been some truth to the rumor during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
Lopez insisted she was ‘joking’ – but conceded the dancers may not have been aware her request was meant in jest.
‘I’ve thought about this! I do like to joke around! I maybe just had an issue with a Virgo and so I was like, “If anybody’s a Virgo here, get out!” But I didn’t mean it! But they can walk away and say that.
‘I’m sure they knew that I was joking. Or maybe they felt like I wasn’t? Who knows? But I was absolutely joking.’

Lopez admitted she was ‘joking’ but can see how the dancers didn’t see it that way
Three years ago Morris alleged Lopez had dancers do a full day of try-outs before she asked the group if anyone was a Virgo.
The ones who identified themselves as Virgos were then dropped from the audition.
‘Jennifer Lopez held an audition for dancers for one of her tours,’ she said on the Just Sayin’ with Justin Martindale podcast.
‘Most of the time, a dance audition, you’re not getting paid, you’ve been there since 10AM, and you’re auditioning until 6PM.’
‘She walks in the room, and she said, “Thank you so much, you guys have worked so hard. By a show of hands, if there are any Virgos in the room, can you just raise your hand?” she added.
‘So, a bunch of Virgos raised their hand… she whispered to her assistant, she looked at them and she said, “Thank you so much for coming.” And they had to leave after a full day of auditioning for Jennifer Lopez!’
‘And this is true?’ Justin asked.
‘This is hearsay,’ Heather clarified.
Virgos are known for having high standards, being modest, working hard, and being helpful, according to Cosmopolitan. Interestingly, J-Lo’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony, is a Virgo.

The Virgo tidbit isn’t the only question Lopez fielded during her chat with Andy Cohen.
She also was asked whether or not she would be making an appearance during Bad Bunny’s upcoming Super Bowl half-time show.
The Puerto Rican rapper appeared in Lopez’s half-time show in 2020, and the Maid In Manhattan star also publicly cheered him on when news of his performance was announced.
Lopez revealed on WWHL that that has been ‘no talk’ of her joining his performance.
However, if asked, Lopez ‘would definitely do it.’
‘There’s no talk!’ she said. ‘I have not gotten any calls! So I just want to put the expectation down. But of course if he wanted me to do something, I would definitely do it.’
