It’s fake news, says Iris Law, as waitress accuses model, 24, of ‘Do you know who I am?’ New York restaurant tantrum

Jude Law’s daughter Iris claims she has become a victim of fake news after a waitress branded her the ‘nastiest’ customer she’s ever served.

The 24-year-old model denies allegations that she had a tantrum in a New York restaurant and refused to settle the bill in full.

Madison Tayt accused Ms Law, who recently walked the catwalk for Versace at Milan Fashion Week, of being a ‘mean spirited, doesn’t pay her check, do you know who my father is, ass bitch’.

The waitress also alleged that Ms Law, whose mother is 1990s It girl Sadie Frost, ‘started screaming and throwing a tantrum in the restaurant’. ‘She didn’t like our dessert section and had a meltdown,’ Ms Tayt alleged.

‘She refused to pay for the whole check, [and] screamed about [how] her father wouldn’t be happy about this.’

As Ms Tayt’s allegations went viral on a social media platform with more than 32.8 million views, Ms Law insisted the allegations were ‘literally a fan fiction story’.

‘Guys come on! So, someone is saying that I got up in the middle of the meal and didn’t pay and screamed and said ‘‘Do you know who I am?’’ because I didn’t like the dessert menu.

‘That’s kind of funny but it’s completely made up.’

Ms Law, who last year had a five-month romance with England and Liverpool footballer Trent Alexander-Arnold, added: ‘It’s 2am and I have literally been having a meltdown about this because now everyone thinks I’m horrible.

‘And I also feel like I am going to go to sleep and wake up and more people are going to believe this.

‘But I am going to try and sleep so please back me. Someone has just made up a complete lie and now it is going viral. I literally didn’t do this, and now everyone believes it.’

Ms Law has since deleted the social media account on which she posted her video but that hasn’t stopped speculation online.

One social media user responded: ‘It’s wild that she’s saying “do you know who my father is” because he’d be appalled by that.

‘I know multiple people who’ve served him in London, and he’s always been lovely.’

It’s not the first time the waitress has been involved in a viral restaurant spat. In March 2023, Ms Tayt slammed European diners for tipping her only $70 on a $700 bill after they complimented her service.

The Mail on Sunday has approached Ms Tayt and Ms Law for comment.
