Franky Venegas, one half of the viral sensation Island Boys, kicked off 2026 in jail.
The Florida rapper was arrested Wednesday night in Collier County on a charge of drug paraphernalia, per TMZ.
Law enforcement says Venegas, 22, is being held without bond on a 24-hour hold because he was already out on bond from a February arrest tied to a firearm with an altered serial number.Â
That previous case also involved alleged drugs, though the narcotics charge was later dropped.
Venegas rose to fame in 2021 with twin brother Alex thanks to their viral hit I’m an Island Boy.
The rapper’s legal troubles have mounted since, with past arrests for domestic battery, reckless driving, and driving without a license.

Authorities report the February arrest began when officers stopped a yellow Corvette for a traffic violation.Â
During the stop, police allegedly discovered suspected Oxycodone on the passenger floorboard and a spray-painted handgun with no serial number, along with other paraphernalia.Â
Venegas reportedly denied owning the pills, claiming he had a prescription he couldn’t present.Â
