Isla Fisher has thrown herself into work as she appears to be busier than ever in the wake of her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen after 14 years of marriage.
Borat star Sacha, 53, was spotted with 27-year-old model Hannah Palmer who he met at film director Taika Waititi’s 50th birthday party in Iibiza last month.
Isla, 49, who shares three children with Sacha, recently admitted she is ‘not ready’ to date again and has instead opted to focus on her film career.
The actress has made sporadic film appearances in recent years. She had voices in Back to the Outback in 2021 and Strays in 2023 and had a role in the 2024 film The Present, her first on-camera film appearance in four years.
After her split from Sacha became public however, Isla appeared in the big budget film Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.
She has four films all due to be released either this year or next, marking her busiest woring period since 2016 when she appeared in Keeping Up with the Joneses, Noctural Animals and Grimsby with then-husband Sacha.

Isla is due to appear in heist film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, coming-of-age drama Jay Kelly and action comedy Playdate with Kevin James.
Most recently, she was spotted filming another upcoming comedy Spa Weekend in her native Australia alongside Leslie Mann and Anna Faris.
Earlier this year, Isla admitted she is not looking to date again anytime soon in the wake of her divorce.
‘That’s not on my to-do list. I’m not ready to think about any of that,’ she told The Sunday Times.
Isla explained her own parents separated when she was nine-years-old and admitted their peaceful arrangement was what she now strives for.
She said: ‘It was very harmonious, I don’t ever remember them fighting about anything… they were very inclusive of each other.’
When asked if that was the ‘blueprint’ for her separation, Isla said: ‘That’s the dream.’
After it emerged that Sacha and Hannah enjoyed dinner together earlier this week, sources have now confirmed to the Daily Mail that the meet was not what it seemed.

A source said: ‘Someone seems to have been making mischief and trying put two and two together to make five.
‘They have met a couple of times and have mutual friends and got on – and Sacha has given her some advice regarding Hollywood and acting.
‘But this was not a date. They were both going to the same event so they went to dinner beforehand. And once at the event, they went their separate ways.’
Sacha and OnlyFans model Hannah were seen leaving a restaurant after having dinner together, before making separate exits, but getting into the same Cadillac Escalade limo.
Snaps from the evening see Hannah putting on a very leggy display in a leopard print minidress and knee-high boots as she leaves, before Sacha walks out in a colourful striped shirt and a flat cap.
While an onlooker described the pair’s chemistry to the The Sun, saying: ‘They spent two hours inside and seemed deep in conversation. Despite the age difference they were getting on really well and seemed to have a lot to talk about.’
An insider added to the publication: ‘Sacha and Hannah would have been introduced at [Taika’s] party. It was a big sit-down dinner party before they went dancing in the villa’s nightclub.
‘Hannah is a super fun girl and is as clever as she is beautiful. Sacha is a very lucky man to have bagged a date with her. She’s a real catch.’

Hannah has gained a successful following on her social media, thanks to her many sizzling snaps, boasting 2.2 million followers on Instagram and 575,000 on TikTok.
Her social media is full of bikini snaps from exotic and lavish holidays to the likes of Hawaii, Mexico and St Tropez, and she is also pals with DJ and model Chantel Jeffries and ex-Towie star Vas J Morgan.
She also had an OnlyFans account for her racier content, which she claimed earned her an eye-watering £4million in her first year on the X-rated site.
It comes just three months after Sacha and Isla finalised their £120million divorce in June.
The former couple first met at a party in Sydney in 2001, with Sacha later admitting he had fallen for Isla quickly after realising she was ‘hilarious’.
He recalled: ‘We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people at the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.’
They tied the knot nine years later and welcomed three children, before announcing last year that they’d ‘quietly separated’ in 2023.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Isla said she’d been through ‘a tough couple of years’ and was now focused on re-establishing her identity outside of her marriage to Sacha (seen together in 2017)
Sharing the photo of them posing in matching tennis outfits to both of their Instagram Stories in April 2024, they stated: ‘After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down.
‘We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.’
Sacha and Isla confirmed their divorce had been finalised in June, with another simultaneous statement posted to their Instagrams.
It read: ‘Our divorce has now been finalised. We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children. We ask for the media to continue to respect our children’s privacy.’
A source said after the announcement: ‘It’s all sorted. Now Sacha and Isla both just want to get on with the rest of their lives and focus on their family’s well-being.’
