Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight had fans swooning as Greek pocket rocket Jamie Marinos tied the knot with two-metre tall tattooed tradie Dave Thomas.

Dave, 36, known as the gentle giant with a shy and reserved demeanour, was hoping for a confident bride who could bring him out of his shell.

Enter Jamie, 28, a bubbly and bold bride who instantly injected personality and humour into their wedding day.

As Jamie walked down the aisle, her excitement was palpable.

The moment she spotted Dave’s tattoos, she let out a scream that had the entire wedding party in stitches.

‘Is that a neck tatt?’ she yelled before Dave even had the chance to turn around.

Without missing a beat, she added, ‘Sorry, Dad,’ as her family and friends erupted in laughter.

When the pair finally came face-to-face, it was clear the experts had nailed the match.

‘Oh my god! And you’re tall!’ Jamie exclaimed, immediately approving of Dave’s towering physique. ‘Dad, this is great. Sold! Sold! Sold!’

Dave was equally taken with Jamie, describing her as ‘stunning’ with ‘beautiful eyes.’

The two quickly bonded over their mutual love for tattoos, with Jamie gushing, ‘When he turned around, and you could see the tats, automatically I was like, tick. His physique, tick. And then he smiled—nice teeth. Tick. God, okay, yep.’

Dave, who admitted he was nervous about being matched, said Jamie’s energy put him at ease.

‘She’s quirky. She made me feel comfortable, which is cool. I’m very stoked, very, very happy.’
