A Love Triangle singleton from Season 2 has raised eyebrows over his long list of requirements for a woman he wants to date.
Sam Fisher, who debuted in episode one of the Stan dating show on Thursday, is set to be one of the most controversial contestants the series has ever seen.
The 35-year-old lives in Broome, Western Australia, and is the brother of celebrity eyebrow specialist and socialite Kristin Fisher.
During the episode, Sam admitted he is ‘extremely’ picky when dating women and even flies girls he’s met on Instagram to the regional town.
Speaking to producers on the show, Sam listed his ideal type, his turn offs, and dating red flags.
‘I’ve been brought up around a certain calibre of women,’ he said.

‘My ideal type might be a little brunette somewhere south of 5’9″. I’m only 5’9″ myself so…’
‘Age range, mid to late 20s,’ he continued. ‘Girls that are younger than me is just something that’s come naturally to me… I’ve dated everything up until my age.’
During episode one of Love Triangle, Sam was given the choice out of two ladies — Sophie, a mental health professional from the Gold Coast, and Emily, a personal trainer from Sydney — to take on a date and continue the experiment.

He was tasked to chat with them online and get to know them before choosing, but had no idea what either of them looked like.
Sam was conflicted with who he should choose, as Emily — the female he preferred — was older than him by one year.
‘That’s the first domino to fall, really,’ he said of their 12-month age gap.

‘There’s a few more [kilometres] in the older models, alright? So, they’ve been around the block. She’s probably gonna have a little bit more mileage.’
Despite this, Sam decided to choose 36-year-old Emily to meet in person and take on a date, believing Emily is more ‘mature’ than his second option, Sophie, who is 26.
‘There’s definitely some risk. Let’s hope it pays off for me,’ he said.

In the lead up to their date, and before meeting face-to-face for the first time, Sam said the worst case scenario and ‘ick’ for him would be if Emily was ‘some big jacked-up personal trainer’.
‘… Taller than me, eyeballs popping out of her head. That would give me the ick,’ he added.
‘You can’t come back from the ick. I think once there’s an ick, it’s terminal.’
Much to Sam’s surprise, he was shocked when Emily arrived and was at least a head taller than him.

‘Holy s**t. Oh no,’ he muttered under his breath.
‘I didn’t realise you were gonna be this tall,’ Sam said to Emily when the blonde bombshell approached him.
‘Well, I could say the same about you,’ she quipped.
Sam later vented his frustrations to the producers who asked what he thought of his new match.
‘She’s not my type,’ Sam told producers. ‘I think she could bench more than me at the gym’
‘She’s not my type,’ he said.
‘I pictured like a short, brunette, personal trainer chick. And I got like this leggy, blonde thing.
‘I think she could bench more than me at the gym. She could step out of the Australian men’s basketball team.’
Things got off to a rocky start on their date night when Sam shared his ‘brutally honest’ review of Emily’s features in front of her.
‘You’re slightly taller than girls I’ve normally dated,’ he said.

‘I’ve never been with someone shorter than me. Not to say it’s a bad thing!’ the PT said.
‘My usual type would be tall, dark and handsome kind of guy. Usually a little bit more manly.’
Despite their differences, the pair remain hopeful things will work out due to their great chemistry prior to meeting face-to-face.

Stan announced in August the double episode premiere will air on the streaming platform, as the six new singles were unveiled.
After a successful season one, which has seen the launch of a UK version, producers pulled out the big guns and enlisted former Married At First Sight star Ella May Ding as the narrator for season two.
Produced by Endemol Shine Australia, the series promises to ‘test the singles like never before’.
Love Triangle sees the lovelorn contestants choose a love match from just two options after building a connection with both without seeing what they look like.
While one match embodies their steamy desires, the other reflects their deeper, more fulfilling romantic needs.
The pairs must spend 48 hours getting to know each other via text only before making their final decision. No pictures or selfies are allowed.
However, in a shocking twist, the rejected person will make a surprise return later in the season to form a risqué love triangle.
The radical relationship format urges courageous singles to reject all conventions and pitfalls of modern dating created by app-based matchmaking.

After just two days of building a connection, singles must make the potentially life-changing choice between two matches, before meeting just one on a blind date.
Stan Chief Content Officer Cailah Scobie said: ‘The first season of Love Triangle proved to be a huge hit with audiences and critics alike.’
‘We look forward to introducing audiences to another unforgettable cast of singles in 2023.’
The announcement comes after a brutal season one finale saw three singletons walk away without partners and, of course, a cheating scandal.
The first two episodes of The Stan Original Series Love Triangle Season 2 premiered October 5, followed by a brand new episode every Thursday, only on Stan.
