'It's unfair for security to just assume someone doesn't have good intentions.'
, uploading a series of Instagram videos to explain what she saw happen whilst having breakfast with her daughter Ada.
'I know that Chappell has responded, saying that "It wasn't her security and that she didn't do it" well, 100% this wasn't a security guard of the hotel that's what I can say, he looks after artists,' Cat said in her video.
'Now I don't know if he's her personal security guard but he was with her, so that is all I know, did she send him to do it? again, I don't know, I would like to hope not.
'But at the same time you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity that the people who work for you and act on your behalf are acting on your behalf,'
'So would he do that if he didn't have her authority? I don't know. If he does, thats a big problem. because then he is representing her in a way she doesn't want to be represented'.
Catherine added that Chappell was right to say she 'didn't notice anything' because nothing happened and claimed all her daughter did was walk silently past the hitmaker's table.
'[My daughter] didn't have her phone, she didn't try to take a picture, she didn't do anything, she just looked at [Chappell] and smiled'.
Catherine went on to recall how a security guard, who she described as 'aggressive and intimidating' soon came over to their table and 'berated' her for being a bad parent.
'He said we should not harass people and all these other things and I did try to explain to him that she was a child and she was just excited to see an artist she liked'.

She explained to him that her daughter, who has a famous father and stepfather, understood 'boundaries' acceptable to people in the public eye, but said the security guard did not listen.

'It was her birthday presented, she asked for tickets, it was a little bit ruined because we didn't go to the show last night but that's how it is'.
Before adding: 'I hope that maybe if it wasn't her that maybe she learns not to allow the people who work for her not to treat people like this'.

Catherine dated Jude in 2014, while he was filming on location in the Czech Republic and grew close to the aspiring musician.
Catherine, who competed on The Voice as Cat Cavelli in 2015, was just 23 when she had a brief relationship with the Holiday star, then 41, but they went their separate ways before Ada was born.
Jude is also a father to Rafferty, 28, Iris and Rudy, 22, from his marriage to actress Sadie Frost, who he met when the pair starred together in 1992 film Shopping.
The star shares 15-year-old Sophia with model Samantha Burke.
Jude and his now wife Phillipa Coan also reportedly have two children - born in 2020 an 2023 - whose identities have not been made public.
In June last year,
Catherine started dating Jorginho - whose full name is Jorge Luiz Frello Filho Cavaliere OMRI - back in 2020 after the footballer split from his ex-wife Natalia Leteri.
Meanwhile Catherine thanked Lewis Capaldi for his 'kindness' on Sunday after he posed for a snap with Ada.
She posted a snap of the tween as she beamed alongside the Scottish singer following his concert at Lollapalooza 2026 in São Paulo, which Roan was headlining.
Lewis gave a thumbs up to the camera with Catherine also jumping in for a snap as she captioned the post: 'Thanks for your kindness'.

Since Roan's rise to stardom in 2024, she has been outspoken about the pitfalls of fame, publicly rejecting the idea that she should accept unwanted attention.
She has had a sometimes contentious relationship with her fans, with the artist previously calling out behavior that she considered 'creepy' and 'invasive' in social media posts.
But she said in Saturday's post, 'I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children. That is crazy. I'm sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something, that you would do something. If you felt uncomfortable that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that.'
In August 2024 Roan posted a video to TikTok in which she said, 'I don't care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little famous.
'It's weird how people think that you know a person because you see them online and you listen to the art they make...I'm allowed to say no to creepy behavior, okay?'
She followed that up with a lengthy post to Instagram, saying, 'I want to be an artist for a very long time. I've been in too many nonconsensual physical and social interactions and I just need to lay it out and remind you, women don't owe you s**t.'
Roan continued: 'When I'm on stage, when I'm performing, when I'm in drag, when I'm at a work event, when I'm doing press...I am at work. Any other circumstance, I am not in work mode. I am clocked out.'
She added, 'If you're still asking, "Well, if you didn't want this to happen, then why did you choose a career where you knew you wouldn't be comfortable with the outcome of success?" – understand this: I embrace the success of the project, the love I feel, and the gratitude I have. What I do not accept are creepy people, being touched, and being followed.'
The rising entertainer has earned a reputation for being a complainer, with fans suggesting she change her name to 'Chappell Moan.'
