Bradley Cooper is said to be ‘very excited’ about his budding romance with model Gigi Hadid, with insiders claiming the Hollywood actor has been telling friends that she is ‘exactly his type’.
The pair fueled speculation that they could soon be the next big A-list couple after they were pictured together returning to New York on Sunday in Bradley’s SUV following an alleged romantic getaway.
Bradley, 48, is ‘eager to date again and be in a relationship,’ according to one source who claims the potential new union has angered Gigi’s ex, Zayn Malik, 30, with whom she has daughter Khai, three.
‘Bradley is excited about getting to know Gigi. He hasn’t felt this excitement about a woman in a very long time,’ a source exclusively told DailyMail.com. ‘They are taking it slow, but he’s very into her. She is exactly his type.’
‘Gigi is a good mother to her daughter Khai, and Bradley finds this very appealing,’ the source continued, claiming that the supermodel has also scored points for being ‘supportive of [Bradley’s] sobriety, which is crucial to him’.

A second source added: ‘Bradley is eager to date again and be in a relationship. He loves all that comes with it and Gigi is beautiful and she gets it, she is really cool and knows her way around relationships like this with famous men, so they are both having fun.
‘Bradley wasn’t jealous that Irina is with Tom [Brady] but it did give him the extra push to move on and start dating and put his focus on someone who could be a good mate.
‘They are seeing how it all goes, it is still really new, but there is no disappointment with what has been happening so far. It is all looking very positive to turn into something serious.’
The pair first sparked speculation they were growing close when they were spotted dining together in New York City on October 5, three days before they were pictured for a second time in Bradley’s SUV.
They were smiling as the Hangover actor dropped her off at her apartment in his black matte Mercedes-Benz G-Class. She then retrieved a travel bag from his trunk before heading inside.

‘He still has a connection with Gigi, and he doesn’t really want to see or let alone think about her with someone else romantically.
‘It has been a while since they broke up, but they have a lot of history and as we all know, they have a kid together. So that plays a lot into it because he can never get away from it as they will be connected forever, and it plays with his emotions.’

The insider also mentioned that Bella Hadid’s sister has ‘had somewhat of a crush on Cooper for a while’ and is open to more than friendship with the Oscar winner.
‘They share commonalities. They’re both parents with demanding careers and understand life in the spotlight. There’s definitely an attraction,’ the insider added.

Despite their best efforts, neither Bradley nor Gigi have managed to keep their dating lives under wraps.
Bradley’s last significant relationship with Irina ended in 2019 after four years. The pair sparked reconciliation rumors last November after they were pictured on a dog walk with their arms around one another.
The A Star is Born actor previously dated Renee Zellweger, Isabella Brewster, and Suki Waterhouse. He was also married to Jennifer Esposito, from 2006 to 2007.
Gigi was briefly linked to Leonardo DiCaprio earlier this year, two years after she split from former One Direction star Zayn. The pair had dated for six years.
Bradley is close friends with Leonardo, with the pair first meeting in their 20s when Bradley, an employee at a New York hotel, assisted the Titanic star.
