Insider reveals juicy secret details of Alix Earle’s night with Tom Brady… and how her NFL star ex Braxton Berrios reacted

They were spotted getting cozy as they rang in the New Year at a super exclusive beach party with a bevy of celebrity pals in St. Barts.

Videos of Alix Earle, 25, rubbing Tom Brady’s back and the sportsman, 48, pulling her in to him by the waist sparked feverish speculation online as shocked fans digested their handsy rendezvous.

Now, an insider close to Earle has confirmed the TikTok influencer was very much enjoying a flirt with the former NFL champ – who is nearly double her age – with her family reportedly keen for their night to develop into something more.

‘She said she was just having fun,’ they told the Daily Mail.

‘She’s definitely one to laugh about [the viral moment]. It’s typical Alix – she’s not doing anything wrong. Just enjoying spending time with him and yes, getting flirty.’

The source claimed that Brady is ‘100 percent her type’ despite the fact she normally dates guys closer to her own age. But she is ‘open to possibilities’ and ‘could have a new perspective on dating going into the new year.’ 

‘He’s handsome, an athlete and worth millions…,’ they said, adding: ‘Who wouldn’t be crushing on someone like him?’

But even if Brady, who is in the second season of a 10-year, $375million deal with Fox, was ‘crushing on’ Earle, their handling of the publicity around them could prove divisive.

For Brady is not a fan of going viral or documenting his life online, unlike Earle who has built an empire on relentlessly sharing hers – from messy drunk nights to crying over broken relationships.  

Earle has yet to publicly address their night, but she did upload pictures from the swanky event, which although Brady did not feature in them, she cryptically celebrated meeting new people. 

‘Rumor has it we’re still dancing,’ Earle wrote. ‘New friends, new memories, and new beginnings to start off the new year. Words can’t describe how amazing this trip was… best nye party EVER!!!’

Earle’s family also added to the hype over the weekend, with her father Thomas ‘TJ’ Earle, who is only two years older than Brady, name dropping him in a TikTok video.

The influencer’s step-mom Ashley, 40, was modeling one of her husband’s navy over-sized blazers as she asked for his opinion on the outfit.

Much to her surprise he then revealed: ‘I actually got that jacket because I saw Tom Brady wearing one like that.’

With their daughter Izabel, 12, laughing in the background, Ashley replied: ‘Are you joking?’

‘I swear to God,’ TJ, 50, said as a smiling Ashley then quipped: ‘Are you serious? You know what, honey… you just say the darnedest things. How ironic is that.’ 

Name dropping Brady is no big deal for the Earle’s who are said to be excited at the prospect of the former footballer joining the family. 

‘Friends and family are excited about the prospect of her dating Tom,’ said our source.

‘[Brady and Earle] might not become anything serious, but there’s nothing wrong with having a fling here and there.’

It could be an ideal set-up for Earle who is reportedly ‘over having a long distance relationship’ after her split from her boyfriend of two years, Braxton Berrios. The couple were afforded little time together despite her moving into his Miami home in April as he packed up for Texas with his team, the Houston Texans. 

‘I’m sure Braxton must be fuming,’ our source said, before suggesting it’s a feeling he may have to get used to as any future dalliances would ‘most likely be at another party’ where eagle-eyed partygoers will no doubt capture the moment.

A second source spilled that Berrios, 30, ‘has no concern over what she did or will do [with Brady], and was not upset at all.’

But when it comes to something long term, the Houston Texans wide receiver need not worry for now, with our insider adding: ‘I don’t see them secretly dating.’ 

Earle and Berrios announced their split in early December amid swirling speculation from fans who started panicking at his absence on her social media accounts and his repeated no-show at Dancing with the Stars in which she was competing with her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

In a teary video on TikTok, she told her fans: ‘Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since basically June and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often.’

She added that it had been ‘really hard to process in general, and I think why I’ve been scared to say something is because I feel like it just makes it more real.’

The oversharing is a reportedly a hard concept for Brady to swallow, with a source previously telling the Daily Mail that he was on high alert when they hung out on New Year’s Eve.

‘There was lots of flirting, but Tom is always aware of his surroundings and isn’t going to get caught in a hot hook-up unless he wants to,’ they said. ‘He does his courting behind closed doors. 

‘It isn’t far-fetched that this could develop into something. Afterall, Alix is single, and she’s going to do what she wants to do and go after what she wants. But Tom is definitely in the driver’s seat.’ 

A separate source reiterated Brady’s fears, telling Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice newsletter that the footage of them partying together is a ‘huge red flag’ for the former quarterback.

‘Tom values discretion above everything else,’ they said. ‘He’s already suspicious about how these videos of him and Alix leaked. That’s a huge red flag. He’s not interested in a girlfriend who broadcasts every detail of her life.’ 

Brady has been linked to multiple high-profile women since his divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen in October 2022. The former couple finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage and two children – son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13. Brady also shares son Jack, 18, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

Since their split, Brady has also been romantically linked to Brooks Nader, Sofia Vergara, Irina Shayk and Kim Kardashian.
