Two stars of The Block have revealed what really went on behind the scenes after a ‘copycat’ cheating scandal rocked Tuesday’s episode of the reality hit.
Tensions erupted when Sonny and Alicia accused Han and Can of stealing their idea, after both teams installed heated seats in their bathrooms.
And in a shock twist, two of the Blockheads at the centre of the drama say that despite the blow-up, the cast ended the season as friends.
‘It really did become a little Block family,’ Han and Can told Yahoo Lifestyle this week.
‘Of course, there were some tense moments, big personalities, high stakes, and zero sleep will do that.
‘But behind the scenes there was so much laughter, support, and fun that didn’t always make it to air.

‘We all went through something so unique together and that bond is really strong.’
The Perth couple added that by the end of filming, the cast had bonded so closely that each contestant received matching tattoos as a tribute to their time on the show.
Nine later shared a picture of the tattoo, which featured the familiar Block logo outline with a heart emoji in the centre.
Han and Can also said that cast members agreed to an Airbnb stay after production wrapped.
‘The friendships, the growth, and the memories are things we’ll carry forever,’ they shared.
It comes after this week’s controversial blow-up.
In Tuesday’s challenge, the teams were instructed not to include underfloor heating in their designs.
However, House 4’s Sonny and Alicia fought hard to get heating for a seat approved, an idea they thought would win them the prize up for grabs: a state-of-the-art caravan.

Han and Can also shared that a lot of the lighter moments Blockheads experienced on the Daylesford building site, ‘will never’ make it to air
After learning that House 2’s Han and Can had also installed a heated seat in their space, things on-site got ugly.
‘Why would you do that? If you’ve heard another house is doing it, why are you copying? It makes no sense,’ Alicia said.
‘These girls better have a good excuse for this,’ she added, dubbing the move ‘uncreative’ and ‘unoriginal’.
When the couple went to confront Han about the alleged cheating, she denied that she and Can were guilty of any wrongdoing, claiming the chippies had let them in on the idea.
Sonny was livid over the conversation.
‘It’s just annoying because the legwork that I put in made it happen, and that was our sort of secret, as such. We had a point of difference and now we don’t,’ he said.
‘When someone lies straight to your face, to me, that’s the worst. Just be honest,’ Alicia said in her piece to camera.
‘I think it’s full of s***. I think she heard our idea. I think they put no time into it.’
Later on, Han could be seen filling Can in on the heated conversation, a moment that saw her break down into tears.
‘To be viewed as someone that would steal an idea, that absolutely disgusts me. I’m not that person,’ she told her partner.
Can later went to apologise to Sonny and Alicia, adding that the move wasn’t malicious but rather a misunderstanding.
Things worsened for the WA couple when it became apparent that Han had witnessed what Sonny and Alicia had done the night before at Hepburn Spa.
While it’s unclear whether she lied or not, the mishap prompted Sonny and Alicia to up their game and hold their cards closer to their chest.
