Perched above the windswept Rhode Island coast, Taylor Swift’s $17 million Watch Hill mansion played host to the most iconic Fourth of July weekends of the summer.
From 2013 to 2016, the 14-time Grammy winner turned her New England home into a star-studded summer escape, complete with American flag bikinis, oversized floats, fireworks and famous friends.
Over the years, the guest list ranged from A-listers like Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively and Cara Delevingne to her own childhood pals like Abigail Anderson and Brittany Maack.
The parties, affectionately dubbed Taymerica by fans, weren’t just celebrations of Independence Day, they became a celebration of Swift’s closest friendships and her love of making memories.

This includes all the squad photos, drunken karaoke and, of course, her ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston’s legendary ‘I ❤️ T.S.’ tank top.

Those attending the backyard pool party included Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Joe Jonas, the Haim sisters, Nick Jonas and Martha Hunt.
To make it unforgettable, she purchased a multi-story inflatable slide that towered over her lawn and stationed countless floaties in the pool.
Gigi and Joe, who were dating at the time, apparently brought some incredible party favours for the guests, providing American flag-decorated onesies for everyone.
And, at the center of it all, was Swift, who somehow managed to take photos with every partygoer, grill and cuddle up to her man.
In one picture, Ed Sheeran posed proudly in a red military jacket, which resembled one that would be worn in the British army during the American Revolution.

Her new beau, Tom Hiddleston, was in attendance, as well as pals Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Ruby Rose, Uzo Adubo, and Cara Delevingne.
Fireworks, karaoke, matching American flag swimsuits, and a performance from Ed Sheeran made for an unforgettable bash that social media was left reeling over.

After 2016, the parties stopped, due to political reasons, and Taylor refrained from posting on Fourth of July.
In August, 2019, she explained she stopped hosting her ‘Taymerica’ soirées on account of her ‘disillusionment’ with American politics following Trump’s first win.
‘The thing I can’t get over right now is gaslighting the American public into being like, “If you hate the president, you hate America.” We’re a democracy – at least, we’re supposed to be – where you’re allowed to disagree, dissent, debate,’ she told The Guardian.
The pause lasted, which also coincided with her relationship with Joe Alwyn, which lasted between 2017 and Spring 2023, lasted until 2023.
