Retired footy player-turned-coach Sam Burgess and his wife Lucy have shared a peek inside their modest UK digs after leaving their lavish Sydney lifestyle behind.
The former NRL star, who once played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, moved his young family to England in 2023 after he signed on as the new head coach for the Warrington Wolves Super League team.
He has also traded in his glamorous penthouse pad for a red-brick family home in Cheshire, according to photos Lucy, 33, shared to Instagram.
The WAG posted a series of images to her page on Wednesday as she enjoyed playing host to a children’s playdate with her friends.
Lucy, who shares daughter Robbie, one, with Sam, 36, and is pregnant with their second child, could be seen wearing a flowing white dress for the occasion.
She walked barefoot through her massive backyard as she made food and entertained her guests.

The ‘pool party’ in question was a kiddie pool which Lucy and Sam set up in their sparsely decorated backyard.
The couple’s red-brick terrace home is situated on a large plot of land.

Through a set of wide bi-fold doors, a spacious lounge room could be seen with a flat-screen TV.
The family home is a far cry from the ritzy bachelor pad the couple once lived in Sydney.
While Down Under, they enjoyed a sunny lifestyle in Little Bay beach with direct access to the beach and a local golf course.
Sam fetched a whopping $1,212,500 for his two-bedroom, two-bathroom Little Bay penthouse in 2023 before he made the move to Cheshire.

Despite boasting modern amenities and sprawling ocean views, the pad would have been ill-suited for Sam and Lucy to raise their soon-to-be family of four.
Lucy announced in April the couple were expecting their second child, with Sam already sharing children Poppy, eight, and Billy, six, with ex-wife Phoebe.
She showed off her growing baby bump in a series of photos from their holiday in Capri earlier this year.

Sam married Lucy in October 2024 during a lavish Italian wedding after two years of dating.
He was married to Phoebe Burgess, with whom he shares two children, for four years before they split in 2019.
