A decade ago, Calvin Harris was living the Hollywood dream.
Leaving his native Dumfries, a sleepy market town in Scotland, he had a brand new mansion, a residency in Las Vegas and was dating pop royalty Taylor Swift.
Once working in a fish factory to fund his decks so he could DJ, he has since accumulated a property profile boasting several homes in Los Angeles, including a 10-bedroom, 12-bathroom Beverly Hills mansion, which he sold for £20million in 2022.Â
A £5million Hollywood Hills home was also added to his roster before he sold it in 2020 as well as a £10.75million Bel Air estate.
But he gave all of that up for the quiet life in the Cotswolds as he made a bid to settle down with radio presenter Vick Hope, who was seen recently with a ‘bump’, prompting speculation that she is expecting their first child.
The pair are smitten, despite her turning him down in 2007 when he was a fledging star.
Today, life is no longer about Las Vegas nightclubs but a more chilled lifestyle at their 138-acre farm in Ibiza called Terra Masia – known for being the island’s largest organic farm, producing fruit, vegetables and wine.

His headline-hitting relationship with Taylor Swift also ran from 2015 to June 2016 (pictured in May 2015)
They also spend time at a £3.9million mansion in the Cotswolds, which they are due to move into once the renovations are finished later this year.
It almost didn’t happen for the pair, in fact in 2023, Vick revealed in You magazine that she turned him down, saying: ‘It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date. We still laugh about it now.’
With Vick being a British television and radio presenter, the pair regularly crossed paths at music events, and they found their way back to each other in 2022.
Calvin and Vick have kept their relationship very private since and exchanged vows in northeast England in September 2023.
When asked about her wedding plans in May 2022, Hope told Hello: ‘You know what, I was very overwhelmed by the interest in it, but I’m keeping my private life private. I’ve never really experienced this before about my private life, but it’s just for us.’
‘There’s a difference between secrecy and privacy,’ she said during her interview with You Magazine. ‘We don’t really put anything on social media because the time we have together is ‘real life’ and it’s our own.’
Calvin recently won praise from locals and planners after demolishing an ‘ugly’ post-war property and building a grand ‘Cotswold country house’ in its place.
In 2021, the One Kiss producer submitted an application to Cotswold District Council with plans drawn up by Ben Pentreath – who is said to be King Charles’ ‘go-to’ architect and has also worked for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Vick and Calvin’s relationship came after Calvin called time on his four year relationship with model Aarika Wolf (Calvin and Aarika in January 2019)

Vick sparked rumours she is pregnant after appearing to cradle a bump while filming for a press junket earlier this week for BBC Radio 1

Vick is also known to love spending time out in Ibiza with her husband, enjoying the land of their farmhouse on the Spanish island.
Calvin flew Vick out for secret visits to the farm during the beginning of their relationship and reportedly even popped the question underneath a grand tree on the property.
Her love for the area will come in handy as he will be embarking on another year of his residency at Ushuaia in Ibiza, a club not far from his Spanish farmhouse, where he performs every Friday throughout the summer.
Despite now being not so Mr Hollywood himself, he still works with similar royalty including Dua Lipa and Rihanna.
Calvin, real name Adam Wiles, moved to London after saving up £4,000 to try and find singers to believe in him and feature on his tracks.
After running out of money, he was then forced to move back to Scotland with his parents in Scotland but kept on sending his music to those in the industry on MySpace, the right person recognised him and he was signed to Sony BMG in 2006.
His big break came in 2008 when he collaborated with rapper Dizzee Rascal on his single Dance wiv Me, producing the song.
In 2009, he released his second album Ready for the Weekend which entered at number one.
By 2011, he was touring with Rihanna, now being recognised all around the world.

The superstar DJ has shunned his glitzy Hollywood lifestyle for a more quieter way of life after selling his two multi-million pound mansions in Los Angeles in 2020

Calvin listed his massive Beverly Hills mansion for $25 million. He purchased the property in 2014 for only $15million

Back in February 2020 it was reported he finally sold his Hollywood Hills home complete with infinity pool, home cinema and wet bar for $7million, four years after putting it on the market
In 2012, he signed a residency with Wynn Las Vegas and did the same the following year with Hakkasan, which he continued until 2018.
He had a Ceasars Palace residency, which was said to be worth £200 million – but he ended it in 2020 after saying he found the commitment stifled his creativity.
Clearly paying off, in 2013 it was reported he had earnt £35million in the year prior, which placed him as the highest-paid DJ of that year.
In the years that followed, his fortune only continued to grow with the 2015 Sunday Times Rich List ranking him the 30th richest British millionaire in music, with a personal fortune of £70million.
It’s thought he’s now worth close to £250million.
All whilst playing DJ sets around the world, earning the big bucks and buying lavish homes, Calvin Harris’s love life was also just as Hollywoodesque.
In 2013 he dated Rita Ora, now 34, who was also at the height of her early career.
But he announced their breakup on Twitter a year later in a move which reportedly blindsided her at the time.
He then started dating American model Aarika Wolf in 2014, after she appeared in the music video for his song, Blame.
Their relationship came to an end and he then dated music’s most well-known woman, Taylor Swift, now 35, for a year between 2015 and 2016.
The very high-profile couple worked together on one of Calvin’s most popular songs, This Is What You Came For, but broke up apparently because of struggles with work commitments.
He and Aarika got back together in 2017 but broke up in 2022 when his regular trips to Ibiza from America caused a strain on their relationship.
