An Australian influencer has raised eyebrows while attempting to hock off an item it is illegal to own without a weapons licence.
Bailey Scarlett, a Melbourne-based internet personality, took to Instagram on Monday and revealed she’s getting rid of several items in her home.
She was mostly donating piles of clothing, including her children’s old clothes, to women’s and homeless shelters.
But Bailey, 26, surprised her followers when she listed a black taser she was giving away.
‘Also if any girls want, Melb based only,’ the OnlyFans creator wrote alongside a photo of the weapon.

In both New South Wales and Victoria, tasers are classified as prohibited weapons and are not legal for use by civilians.
Possessing or using a taser without proper authorisation and necessary permits can lead to criminal charges and severe penalties.
Police officers in NSW can carry tasers without a special permit.

Bailey is known for her OnlyFans content and boasts 183,000 followers on Instagram, while she only has 9,409 TikTok followers.
She supports herself on the adult subscription site after becoming a single mother at age 20.
In 2021, the young mother was working as an after-hours animal carer in Melbourne when she was terrorised and held at gunpoint by former soldier Tony Wittmann, who was armed with a gun and dressed in military camo gear.
Wittman, a former Army reservist, had booked in to pick up his cat from the shelter the following day, but told a court he couldn’t wait and stormed the home to get it.
He ordered Ms Scarlett onto her knees and trussed her up with cable ties after she said she didn’t have the keys to access his cat, before he then fled empty-handed.
He cornered Scarlett and ordered her: ‘If you do as I say and listen to me, I won’t shoot you.’
Police later found weapons including a tomahawk and imitation flash bangs and his military-style vest dumped in nearby bushland. He returned for his cat the next day.
Wittman was jailed for six years for the shocking 2021 incident, but was eligible for parole earlier this year after serving a minimum three years in jail, sparking new fears for Ms Scarlett.
