Independent Spirit Awards 2025: Natasha Lyonne packs on PDA with hunky boyfriend on red carpet

Natasha Lyonne showed off her chic style as she put on a loved-up display with her boyfriend Bryn Mooser at the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday.

The Poker Face actress, 45 – who recently offered a savage response after being mistaken for Hilary Duff – joined other celebrities at the star-studded event, such as Emma Stone and Demi Moore.

The star stepped onto the red carpet wearing a sleeveless dress with a brown-colored, sheer floral overlay.

A thick belt was wrapped around her midriff to better accentuate her waist and she also slipped into a pair of cream platform boots.

Lyonne’s locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in voluminous curls.

She accessorized the look with a pair of gold earrings as well as a dainty bracelet on her left wrist and a few flashy rings.

Natasha’s makeup was glammed up and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a shimmering shadow around her eyes.

A warm blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow while a nude-colored, matte tint was worn on her lips for a final touch.

Her boyfriend Bryn Mooser – who is also a filmmaker – was stylishly casual in a pair of black jeans as well as white dress shirt.

He also donned a black blazer and slipped into a pair of black boots to complete his outfit for the awards ceremony.

The couple have mainly kept details of their relationship private, but were seemingly first romantically linked back in October 2023.

The two stars stood closely to each other during the brief photo session and at one point, Lyonne held a smile one her face as she affectionately placed her hand on his shoulder.

Natasha and Bryn were also spotted outside the venue and the pair strolled arm-in-arm as they headed towards the main event.

During the ceremony, the actress was seen crossing paths with Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer and also Baby Reindeer’s Nava Mau.

Lyonne later stepped onto the stage while sporting a pair of stylish shades with Patti LuPone to present an award.

While on the red carpet, the beauty took time to speak to The Hollywood Reporter about her upcoming projects such as The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Last year in May, it was announced that Natasha had joined the cast which also includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Julia Garner.

The premise is: ‘Marvel’s First Family face their most daunting challenge yet,’ per an IMDB synopsis.

‘Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his herald, Silver Surfer.’

When asked who her character is in the upcoming Marvel movie, the actress jokingly replied with: ‘Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson.’

‘And so, that’s who I play – and I’m under heavy NDAs and I’m really sorry I said that guys. Yeah, I play a character called Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson.’

In regards to joining the MCU and starring in a Fantastic Four franchise, she admitted it had not been on her ‘radar.’

Natasha also stepped behind the camera to voice a character in the upcoming Smurfs movie – which additionally stars Rihanna.

‘Rihanna is in that, which is very exciting. A very funny thing happened,’ she said, and then referenced her boyfriend. ‘Bryn came and he saw the artwork ’cause you know it turns out I’m not playing a Smurf.

‘And so, I’m not going to spoil my character but suffice to say she’s no Smurfette. That said, she’s in the film more than I realized and it’s a very funny character.’

The live-action animated film is slated to hit theaters later this summer on July 18.

Lyonne is also set to appear in the second season of Poker Face – which she was seen filming late last year.
