Casey Deidrick – who has starred in In The Dark and Days Of Our Lives – has been arrested over allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and taking her phone during a 911 call according to a new report.
The 37-year-old actor was taken into police custody on Sunday and was charged with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call, according to the arrest warrant which was obtained by TMZ.
The site reports that he was jailed at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office and later posted a $2,500 bond and was released.
Deidrick had told police that he had got into a heated argument with his girlfriend in their Nashville home on Sunday morning according to the warrant obtained by TMZ.
He claimed that the altercation happened because he believed that she had been recording him with her phone so he became upset and grabbed it from her.
The actor also claimed that his girlfriend had wrapped her hands around his neck but law enforcement say they found no evidence of that.

On the flipside of that, his girlfriend admitted to an altercation but claimed that she had not recorded him.
She also alleged to law enforcement hat she had cowered in a corner of the kitchen with her phone.
The girlfriend said that Deidrick then came up behind her and grabbed her with his arms and proceeded to pry the phone from her hands.
She then went on to say that she had demanded her mobile device back so she could call 911 as she feared for her safety.
The girlfriend revealed that her actor boyfriend had eventually given her phone back after she promised him that she would move out of their home that day.
Deidrick has enjoyed an acting career of over a decade and a half.
He is best known for originating the role of Chad DiMera on NBC soap opera Days Of Our Lives from 2009 to 2013.
More recently he starred in The CW series In The Dark from 2019 to 2022 where he portrayed Max Parish alongside Perry Mattfield.

In 2021 he starred in a feature-length episode of horror TV anthology Into The Dark and also starred alongside Emily Osment in Hallmark film A Very Merry Bridesmaid.
His most recently role was as Ryan Peterson in another Hallmark film titled Wedding Season which was released in 2023.
