Britney Spears told a police officer she badly needed to use the restroom when she was pulled over earlier this month, after she was seen crossing over double lines.
The Grammy-winning singer, 41, was seen in newly-obtained police bodycam footage obtained by TMZ after an officer with the California Highway Patrol pulled her over October 6 by her home in Thousand Oaks, California.
The Oops!… I Did It Again vocalist told the officer – who had previously pulled her over September 10 for an alleged speed violation – that she urgently needed to relieve herself as she was headed to her home.
‘I’m so sorry, I have to use the bathroom … it’s about to come out right now,’ she told the officer. ‘Sorry, my house is right there.’
Asked for her license and registration, Spears that her security team had her passport and license after she’d come back from a trip.

The CHP officer told Spears that he was not trying to pull her over intentionally, but was looking for motorists who were speeding or passing over double yellow lines.
He issued the Toxic artist a citation for passing over the double yellow lines and advised her she was free to go and to drive safely. Spears received a $327 fine, due by November 21, according to TMZ.
In California, it is illegal to cross solid double yellow lines on the road, unless you are turning left at an intersection, turning into/our of a private road or driveway, driving in a carpool lame, or instructed to do so by construction workers.
The violation occurred after Spears was ‘pulled over and ticketed’ for driving without a license or proof of insurance in her car by CHP September 10, just a month after her estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
In that exchange, which TMZ posted bodycam footage of, the CHP officer told the pop star that she had been clocked driving 61 mph, 21 miles an hour over the 40 mph speed limit.
The star was initially pulled over for speeding in her white Mercedes, and law enforcement claim that she did not have a ‘valid license in her possession’ and failed ‘to provide a peace officer evidence of financial responsibility.’
‘I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry, please forgive me,’ the Womanizer songstress told the officer, who remarked that he had past stopped the singer for speeding and ‘gave [her] a break last time.’
Spears was unable to produce her driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance for the vehicle, citing that she had just returned from overseas and it had been in the possession of her security staff.

Last year, Spears was caught driving at an ‘unsafe speed for prevailing conditions’ and ticketed for the offense on March 10, 2022.
The citation came months after Spears was advised by doctors to be careful behind the wheel as she reentered the world from a conservatorship which prevented her from driving for 13 years.
At the time, a source told People: ‘Britney is very happy the conservatorship is now allowing her to drive. She is ecstatic and beyond grateful for all the help she is receiving right now.’
