A HUGE award-winning US group have reunited with all members for the first time in eight years.
The band had their first number one in 2003 and have gone on to sell an estimated 80 million records worldwide.
Indeed, the Black Eyed Peas have produced some of the biggest hits of the Noughties including I Gotta Feeling, Boom Boom Pow and Shut Up.
Now all four members – will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie have reunited for the first time since Fergie left the band in 2018.
They reunited to celebrate their milestone birthdays, as Taboo, will and Fergie were all 50 this year.
The group posed outside at night for snaps, with Fergie looking effortlessly cool in jeans, a black cropped top and red leather jacket.
She captioned the snaps on Instagram: “Finally got to break bread and celebrate our milestone birthdays together.
“What a special night with my brothers, filled with so much love.”
The feeling was clearly mutual, as Will.I.Am replied in the comments: “The best one yet!!! And I’m so happy…”
Fergie’s departure from the band was confirmed in February 2018 as she focused on being a mum to son Axl, 12.
She was replaced by The Voice of the Philippines season 1 finalist – and Team Apl.de.ap member – Jessica Reynoso under the stage name J. Rey Soul.
The reunion comes two months after Fergie returned to the stage for the first time in seven years.
The singer was a surprise guest during Ludacris’ set at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on October 26, where she performed her hit solo song, Glamorous.
Afterwards, Ludacris told the crowd she hadn’t performed in “seven damn years” and then in an Instagram post he wrote: “We Got FERGIE OUT THE F***IN HOUSE!”
He added: “ATLANTA WENT CRAZY! Love to my Sis.”
In 2020, will.i.am spoke about her decision to step back from the band.
He told Billboard: “She’s focusing on being a mom. That’s a hard job, and that’s what she really wants to do and we’re here for her.
“It’s really the way Fergie designed it, so we’re respecting her design. We love Fergie, and we don’t want anything but awesomeness for her.”
But now after their big get together, fans will be hoping a reunion could be on the cards.
