The stars were out in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening as French fashion house Chanel launched a celebratory event on behalf of its fine jewelry collection.
British singer Lily Allen appeared to be top of the guest list as a host of famous faces attended a special dinner, hosted by Chanel Coco Crush.
But only one could claim to be the daughter of rock royalty as guests filtered through the doors of iconic LA landmark Chateau Marmont ahead of the celebratory event.
Born in 2006, she was instantly connected to the ’90s grunge scene and her father’s pioneering former band through association.
Unforeseen tragedy would result in the grunge scene losing momentum, but her versatile father would emerge from the ashes to form a new band – and enjoy even greater commercial success as one of the greatest front-men of his generation.
And he’s still filling stadiums to this very day, with his band expecting to launch a brand new tour in 2026.

That’s right, it’s Nirvana and Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet!
The teenager is the eldest of Grohl’s three children with wife of 23-years Jordyn Blum and was born and raised in Los Angeles with her sisters, Harper and Ophelia.
More than any of his children, Violet is following in the 19-time Grammy winner’s musical footsteps and has previously joined him onstage to showcase her singing voice with covers of his former band Nirvana, Adele, Jeff Buckley, and the punk band X.
Last August, Grohl and his daughter performed Foo Fighter song Show Me How, written in honor of his late mother Virginia, at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
She has also featured alongside her father at the Glastonbury Festival in 2023, when Foo Fighters headlined the annual event’s legendary Pyramid Stage.
‘My kids are cool. They’re smart and they’re weird and they’re funny. They’re brilliant. And they’re my biggest inspiration and I love them so much and we have such a great relationship,’ Grohl told The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2021.
‘If one of my daughters shows up with a musician [for a date], I’m just going to pull that person aside and I’m going to say, “Look, I will get you a record contract if you stop hanging out with my daughter.”‘
Grohl – a self-taught musician who cannot read music – first found fame as a drummer with iconic grunge group Nirvana.

The band enjoyed enormous critical and commercial fame in the early ’90s, but would ultimately break-up following the death by suicide of troubled singer and principal songwriter Kurt Cobain in 1994.
Grohl subsequently formed Foo Fighters, originally as a solo project, the following year.
Last January, Violet filled in for the late Cobain after Grohl joined surviving Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic onstage for the Fire Aid concert in Los Angeles.
The musician was visibly moved as he drummed along to the song while watching his eldest daughter performing for the sold out and enraptured crowd.
Months earlier, the pair were said to be at loggerheads after it was revealed he’d cheated on his wife and fathered a child with his mistress.
But her participation in the first Nirvana reunion since 2020’s Heaven Benefit Concert suggested tensions between the Foo Fighters frontman and his daughters were dissipating.
